The open "hostility and insult" arose because he replied with snotty sarcastic remarks
back at people who were trying to give constructive critisim. I actually felt
that the idea had a chance, but Akum blew it by being stubborn in his wanting
the faction, his way. He is not being part of the community.
You should actually READ his posts and replies to the people who have tried
to help his suggestion with good suggestions and advice on why something
wont work. For example the Junker ID. Everyone except Akum (and I might
add, the supporters of a capwhore faction) agrees that this faction would be
unsuitable for the Junker ID. We can see through the personal attacks that Akum has thrown at "helpful" people, through to the thinly veiled
CAPITAL WARSHIP whorage desire that comes through in his every post.
He posted a faction intent thread. The community is allowed to and is
encouraged to constructively rip it apart. Which is what we have done.
Akum did not respond to the questions, but threw them back in the face
of the people, attacking them personally. This shows that he is not willing
to engage the community nor listen to the majority - for the betterment
of his intended faction and for the enjoyment of all the players...not just
his own agenda. Because of his and his supporters attitude towards people
trying to help, the community has scoffed at him and ignored his call for
this faction.
Akum and his supporters of this faction has lost the interest of the community.
It's that simple.
Dont want hostility? Answer peoples questions politley instead of personal attacks.
Dont want insults? Be nice and gentle with replies instead of being sarcastic.
You get what you give.

For the record I don't support this faction. Wow. I however don't support capital ship restriction based on how your RP measure's up to another's RP meter. That's why I'm here. Another reason is the attacks on Akumabito.
What ID would you have him use? Mercenary? Which doesn't allow capital ships which would defeat the purpose of this faction. Constructive? Suggest a viable alternative or what you say is just criticism.
Sarcastic comments made by Akumabito? Need I draw attention to Eppy's Pirate Ninja Jesus? Which was posted before any of Akumabito's alleged sarcastic comments? You quoted it well with "you get what you give." Of course it was Akumabito that called someone an "uninformed wanker" in post 42 as well.

Actually the thread was "cleaned" to get rid of most of the OOC feedback most of which was quite constructive and got met with attacks on the fellow posting it. Only after that were the joke applications posted. So this thread as you see it is not the whole story merely the part after we were treated like idiots for trying to help. It's unsuprising that folks feel a little put out.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
OMG can everyone please drop it.... my god, this thing's been done to hell and back several times. n00blet you've made whatever point it is you were trying to make, with cream and a cheery on top. The rest of you, just stop.

I would not mind if that was dug up, considering I remember the first post "this is joke" cropping up along with some other equally natured remarks before any of Akumabito's posts. Hmm, no wonder he felt put out.

They all keep their individual tags and IDs, and put a [CSW] tag in their name.
They don't operate as a tight faction, but offer each other help if anyone is attacked by their 'original' faction.
If an exiled Outcast battleship is attacked by Outcasts, the other CSW come together and help.
That way they'd be banding together for protection, not to go capwhoring.
Even this is pushing it, but it's a helluva lot more reasonable than the junker idea..
There is no feasible way of this working - admin have spoken.

I am going to say this as bluntly and firmly as I can. This will not be a faction on Discovery. "Even if we get 5 members?" Yes, even if you get 5 members. With all the independent capwhores running around who won't join a faction because they would have to fly a fighter, you'd be able to get the highest faction membership here with this, pardon my harshness, rubish faction.
There will be no capship and nothing but capship faction. If you look, you will see that the majority of factions here limit the amount of capships in there faction to it's highest ranking members. You wanna give capships to everyone?!? Not to mention the fact that (at least from the little bit I read) all of your "Junkers" will actually be LN, RM, Outcast, Corsair, BAF, KNF, etc. captains.
Sorry, but it aint gonna happen. Im not about to judge your motives, as I don't know you, but I can't help but wonder if this is any attempt at RP for RP's sake, or just RP to justify mass PwnZor fleets of capships.

Yes, that sounds like a reasonable idea. I think that is what Akumabito might have intended it as originally, but this faction should die.
