I suspect that this is partially because last I heard, they need to go to Alaska in order to get their ID. While that perhaps should be looked at as simply a one-time thing, like when the Xenos buy their Eagles in the Omicrons, since it's so close to where they normally "should" operate it's easy to assume they should be allowed in.
Sting operations do sound cool i must admit however when i flew up in my freelancer a few days ago i saw more LSF at manhattan than LPI. Now me is thinking it would make more sense for them to be doing the sting operations yes. A very covert starflea parked scanning with LSF half way down the trade lane ready to disrupt it :crazy:
Well if LSF can manage to be covert like this it would make it more fun flying theough new york with a cargo hold full of pot.
People think nothing of a level 5 parked outside a trade lane. So why dont the secret service use that to thier advantage? LSF should be a little more inventive in thier ways to stop smuggling in my opinion.
