A man sat next in line in the waiting room, hunched over onto a clipboard that held his paperwork in place. He scribbled at it until, eventually, every line and box contained text. Finished, he promptly pushed himself off the chair and started for the secretary's desk, only to be stopped by the doors swinging open, followed by the sight of two guards pulling the unconscious body of a rather attractive looking female out of the room.
For a second, he simply stood there, staring at the limp body as it was dragged away, in a state of curiosity and disbelief, mouth half-open.
"Uh oh" were the only syllables that came into his mind, the clipboard still in his hand, extended out in front of him. The pen, which was chained onto the board, was dangling down the side.
He simply stared on as the body was dragged out of the lobby, and quickly shook his head, starting for the secretary's desk again, handing the clipboard to her. She nodded at him and said a simple "thank you".
Anxiety beginning to settle in, he returned to his seat in the waiting room, leaning back into the chair and seating his hands firmly in his lap.
