Route: Omega-11 to New London and back Cargo delivered: 3500 Uncut diamond (mined at Omega-11) to Waterloo Station and 3000 boxes of mining machinery from Thames outpost to Solarius Station
Captain notes:
Today was the maiden flight of the Dortmund and it seems the ship can handle itself. The first lap of the journey was getting it out into the mining field where Gerald Stahr would help us load up on uncut diamonds. But on our way there we noticed a freelance miner stealing our ore: We warned this thief to leave our systems, but he did not comply. We off course called in the security division and DHC-Hellgrau-1 responded.
Even after being told to drop the stolen uncut diamonds several times the miner did not respond. This lead to the expected end.
After this an RFP officer send out an Kadet to investigate, after informing him the situation was resolved the kadet agreed to escort us to the Omega-7 jumpgate in Omega-3. The trip to New London from there was uneventful. The trip back to Omega-11 was uneventful as well until we flew through Stuttgart where a large scale operation of the Military against a couple of Hessian pilots was underway, we of course continued on with due haste, it might have been a slight bit to much hast because on our way to the Omega-11 Jumpgate a Trade lane malfunction threw both our ships against each other with such force that the smaller vessel of Gerald Exploded. image free hosting
After aiding the survivors in any way I could and making some small repairs to my ship I continued, sadly alone to Solarius station. it might be an idea to start developing a better trade lane system that guarantees the necessary separation of vessels so these tragic accidents don't happen
