Today we exacted vengeance from Corsairs for those two cruisers we lost yesterday. I received a call for assistance from our bomber Wuerger which was in Oberleutnant Ferdinand Gryneus' capable hands. He was contending against two Corsair gunboats BlackChild666 and Dante. After I arrived to the scene I managed to get the killshot in for BlackChild after Ferdinand had stripped his shields with a timely shot of his Inferno. Then we went after Dante when suddenly another Corsair GB showed up trying to help his 'amigo' out. So for a while it was 2 on 2 again. We went on finishing Dante and after a brief struggle Herr Gryneus took her out. We shifted our undivided attention to the newcomer in our little fiesta, yellow. After Dante was a goner yellow realised how hopeless it was to try to fight and tried to flee. Tough luck on his part that I happened to have the Train CD mounted.
While trying to get a small respite from action and running a scan on damage report a Corsair bomber komet Claymore showed up and we engaged him. At this point we both were low on bats and bots. And after a pretty lengthy stalemate another Corsair GB Logan Grimnar joined the fight. There seemed to an endless supply of ships in this Corsair offense. Logan managed to put my ship out of commission after a short fight and I was whisked to Ronnenburg by our valiant rescue team. I don't know what happened to Wuerger. We'll have to ask him when he reports back to base. I don't recall hearing anything, so we must assume that he managed to escape the hands of Logan.
Finally our leader Herr Meisnerr where able to jump into a bomber Stuka and go and finish the Logan. I was testing out our other bomber Schwalbe in Dresden after being flash transferred there from Ronneburg at that time. I encounted Black_coat in Behemoth and she was carrying our allies in her hold. I demanded their release, but got only static as a reply. She tried to run away, but I followed her to Bautzen where I took her out with ease.
