One or two of their members had been trying to get a bomber version of the Raven's Talon made, so I assumed that's what they were referring to.
Unless there have been some momumental policy changes "upstairs", it won't happen.
The TAZ still has a small "ZoI" claim to Port Canaria; but I would like to see that emphasis changed to a joint Zoner "ZoI", to reflect Canaria as the Headquarters of the Council of Zoners.

but ... i m a bit lost - ... what exactly are the big changes?
If so, than the Corsairs would be the ones dealing with the Mollys, not any of the Zoners. Therefor, JG would still be neutral, or at least unfriendly to them.
And yeah, I'm not seeing any big changes either.. Your moving away from being bounty hunters, but your still using Corsair weaponry and keeping close ties with Benitez..

It would be worthwhile to see some of the evidence of all of the hard won trust and forging of ties between the JG and Benitez, as opposed to simply noting that the two factions share a large deal of membership.
Two, or at a stretch 3 members is hardly a large percentage of either of our rosters.
Also, evidence of our friendship can be found in my RP story "Carlos' D.I.D" and probably in afew Jupiter Guild publications.
Furthermore, over past months, Jupiter Guild convoys have been seen regularly bringing supplies to Crete under our supervision, and a number of waves of RP convoys bringing Light Arms to Crete preceeded the recent BPA Newgate Raid we organised. These Light Arms where carried by every participant to be used in the event of capture, and where used by the Corsair-marine contingent that boarded and searched both BPA Newgate and HMS Pendragon for our comrade.
Furthermore, a Jupiter Guild capital vessel secretly provided shelter for our fleet in Leeds, after the raid on Newgate but before the battle with the Bretonian and LSF fleet in Cambridge, allowing our ships to dock and repair (distribution of nanos, bats and ammo).
I think there's plenty of evidence of our assoceation.
You may wish to inform your pilots that attempting to shortcut through the SCRA's system is a quick route to an early death. One of them tried it earlier today, and instead of blasting him as I had a mind to, I explained that he couldn't pass though, as it was a Coalition owned system. Normally wouldn't have bothered, but he was obviously in a new ship, and I assume a new player as well.

Thanks all for your feedback, we are changing so it's always good to hear.
As to the reason why we are hostile to the Molly's: far too many times has a JG vessel been targeted by a Molly ship. Far too many times have they entered and pillage Omega 49. We will not stand for it any longer, and will kill all those that enter into our scanning range.
To those who don't think we are changing: There's been a lot of complaints about the huge variety of weapons and ships we use, as well as the Mercenary issue. We will no longer be using any weapons that are not Civilian, Code or Zoner. The Benitez are limiting (and rightly so) the purchase of Corsair weapons, probably to low level weapons anyway. Instead of running amok with basically any ship that suits us at the time, we will be strictly enforcing the above list - we have narrowed down bombers we have used in the past, various fighters and are currently in the process of switching our Battleships to ones that the Zoners sell. I think that by no longer doing the bounty contracts, or the work associated with being a shady mercenary, the issues regarding our diplomacy will be easier to manage. As we are becoming more Zoner orientated, the issues that affect the Zoners will directly influence our diplomacy - very different to before. All in all, I can see a lot of changes here, how is this the same to what we were before?
When 4.85 comes out, we will be able to limit our ship choices even further. This however, will be assessed when it actually does come out.
As to owning Omega 49 - we didn't think that one through well enough, and have reached an agreement with the Zoner council not to buy it, but to defend it better. We are looking for a new system however, any ideas? We're thinking Omega 50 or Theta?
In regards to more personal replies:
killhappyfool - there is no way that will happen anymore, our movements will be limited to places a Zoner can roam free - unless of course war dictates otherwise. If you could PM me the name of the member who did this, I will get onto it.
Dusty Lens - when I get some time to, definitely! You might want to think about changing that sig of yours as well ;)Our use of Corsair weapons is limited as it is, and using them in Liberty space is another hurdle that we must jump.
Theaxare - JG members may use Tiger Sharks after they become full members, although we encourage them to get a Raven's Talon or start trading. You are right in that the ship we are referring to is the one on the Raven's Bomber. The BW Transport is probably the trader we will end up using, although the Firefly and Drom are on the tables. We think that taking a leaf out of the vanilla version will do us some good (2 eagles escorting a drom to crete with food).
Koolmo - refer to the PM I'm sending you right now:)

Theta is a vanilla system, so you can't own it.. That means Omega-50. If you do want to base out of Theta, get Omicron-74 (original Zoner Guard system that has already been modded up). AW will be changing starting from 4.85, so we won't be making any claim to that, or the patrol rights for Theta. However, I'd still not suggest using Theta. You'll find that no matter your move, people will get pissed, and not just in-RP.. Its more trouble than its worth. I'd say go with Omega-50 or Omicron-64 (I'm modding that one atm, though not sure if it'll be done for .85).
Good point Dab. Looks like we''ll have to buy a base or something for Omega 50 if we do decide to get it...We'll have more discussions over this matter and let you know what decision we come to.
From iffy to awesome in five minutes, now that's a change I can get on board with.
I see this being much more in line with what I thought of as Zoner Mercenaries, doing the dirty work of the Zoners, which they can't be seen to do. The Zoner underhand as it were. After all the Zoners gotta have some bite to ensure tha the money that flows between them and everybody else still gets accepted.
