What kind of a CPU do you have?
At 60C there is nothing to worry about really. Maybe after 80C or so.
When my room is around 25-30C hot, my Intel E7400 (Not overclocked) runs 45-55C under heavy load and 35-40C when idle. (Measured with EVEREST Ultimate Edition)
I have the Antec Sonata III case with the one, single stock fan.

And that is why I am happy my laptop got an auto-shutdown when the CPU gets that high.
Its like 4 years old and it runs 65-70 when browsing the web. I think I should buy some thermal paste, open up the computer and clean up the whole thing.
My AMD Phenom gets incredibly hot especially when I run high end games which offer insane physics and logical processes. My stock AMD fan, as a result, spins like crazy and produces a lot of noise.
Luckily, I've bought a third party fan during my trip to China recently and hopefully it won't be as noisy.
Hmm...Well, funny thing (which I was expecting, honestly) the temperature here in Germany has decreased, it's rather comfortable in my room now. And guess what, my CPU temp decreased aswell, I got about 40-50 Celsius at full load. Now I'm pretty chilled...yee

It didn't work very well after this. I tried to put the smoke back in but it didn't help.
...I had overclocked this CPU from 25 to 30 MHz...
Stupid magic purple smoke.
Mine's at 39C right now.
