Meh, if they aren't keen on working out the new Role-Play we can just ignore them. It will be their loss, losing an interesting relationship. I don't really see any money/power opportunities that could support me, just some nice Role-Play. But if their Faction does not desire that then so be it. It's not like I control them.
A rather odd turn of events, I guess I've got to repay the Dragon's hospitality by blowing up some tired veterans that fought both the Bretonians and Gallians. Oh wait, they're back stronger and decided to take care of some dissidents rather than pacifying them and coordinating a defense and counter-offensive plan should Gallia decide to go "Eye Kusari, nice planets you have there!".
I could see the government trying to get the BD's on side, they're deadly and in numbers. Do you think they'd spend much more lives and money from a broken economy to take care of them? Or is this som publicity stunt from a lucky chap in office while the Ronin in Bretonia goes "Mwahaha, I'm coming for you Kusari! I want my chair back!"
Many strange holes, and I expect Gallia to go back on their word once Bretonia is attacked, unless they truly ally.
"the union coarse is the very opening ticket to gallia"
"We will bomb them with artifacts. (y)"
"We pwn Gallia good. And take all their planets."
"rape gallic women, dont forget that 8-)" -->From Union Corse Chat
I don't like the sounds of that.,..
[1:46:59 PM] : If anything we should be fighting them if thats their plan...
[1:47:08 PM] : Ain't no room in Gallia for two mafias...
"Thats worrying..."
"Yeah I think we might need to put the Hogosha in their place of they come to Gallia..."
What makes this a Good idea?
Don't we have enough Hogosha? Are the UC just a copy of the Hogosha with a coat of French Paint?
If you start shooting the faction who you're supposed to be working with according to the lore, you're effectively screwing yourself over. Royally. Adapt. We all have to.
The presence of hogosha in gallia in 4.86 gives the gallic junkers a prominent enemy to raid and fight, but I'm a bit worried that it will ruin the reputation between gallic junkers and the gallic lawfuls. Doesnt seem like that bit was very well thought out.

Just because it's going to make things more complicated, does not mean it is not thought out.
Alright, so, I've read through it all and some things just don't seem to make sense.
Why would the UC simply allow another mafia to walk into Gallia and profit out of their black market?
If the new government was backed by Kishiro, why are they economically weaker than Samura? (or rather, how does Samura still have any influence at all)
And wasn't Kishiro a Blood Dragon sympathizer? It makes sense that they'd not want them on the government, but if Samura is still around and stronger than them then it would make sense to keep them around to attack them rather than outright destroy them.
Why would Gallia deny an alliance with Kusari and outright blast the crap out of them just to be neutral later on and attack the same target as they would?
How in the world would the Ronin survive if they have no economic backing? I mean, they are just a few shreds of the military left behind in Bretonia. They have no one supplying them if Gallia has taken over the Taus. And they can't exactly pirate Bretonian corps now. If they even pirate at all. Their MO wasn't that well described, to be honest.
