As for the internet thing... Been signed up for Save the Internet for about a year now and sign as many (yes "pointless" I know) petitions as I can.
Its not that scary - it just means that English speaking countries might need to get their acts together. Other countries in the world have been struggling to learn english for the last 50 years to be competitive. Maybe as these new trends continue people in countries like the USA, Australia, Canada, UK will have to do what everyone else has had to do - learn another language.

I can see that working out for them very well when their governments are doing their best to destroy state funded education among other things, because banks are far more important than the future of their people.
The people of the English speaking countries need to get their act together, and force a reform of their ridiculous "two parties - same political spectrum" governments. Or at least make sure they are getting back their taxes worth, and not just letting the rich have all the privileges.
