I think the problem with communication channel is that there are too many messages, and sometimes discussion get lost because of a lot of new messages. I think that was the case with some omicroners-self discussions which leaded to some misunderstanding. Maybe 'administrative' messages should be post in factions subforums because these messages often need a few days to be answered to let time to the leaders to decide (and during these few days these discussion can be lost in the comm chann).

This sounds very good. Internal comms is a great way to communicate within a faction, as well as a good way for a faction to coordinate with its indies. People should use this more.
On the topic of the rest of the comms channel, I would say it is fairly easy to seach out recent messages to your specific faction, but that's not what I'm going for. I'm suggesting a way for people to quickly find all the messages that would be relevent to their RP via a method of grouping or labeling messages according to which part of Sirius they are being sent to. I now see that a simply tag like [L] is too short to search, so perhaps we could lengthen it to [Liberty], [Kusari], and so on... Would anyone considering having such a system that was supported and regulated by moderators?
Oh, and off topic... snak3... Its a bit late, but send me a PM with a link to a thread discussing organizing the news and commerce section... I'm interested in what you mean by this.

Yes, using tag would definitively help to locate messages. In that case a list of official tags should be available.
For messages addressed to official factions, it would be convenient if said factions had a single thread in their subforum for people to dump links to threads they want noticed by the recipient.
Doesn't spam the hell out of subforum, yet those in charge of doing the diplomatic stuff can keep a track easily of what is sent their way. Additionally, for those <strike>unimportant</strike> not so popular factions, a leader can set up an e-mail notification for the thread and be informed about that once-in-a-month communication without having to check the forums on daily basis.
