So instead of 590 damage for 120 energy, you'd rather they use the guns which do 585 damage, for 94 energy at the same refire and 100m/s less speed? 26 energy per shot is quite a bit for a 4.00.
Like I said, though, once you get into a level 8-10 gun, it doesn't really matter what gun it is. They're all pretty much the same in terms of damage. What's more important is the ship with the guns and how well a person knows it. The best weapon's platform is the one you are most comfortable with.
But, you know, if they weren't using those Nomad 700m/s guns, they'd probably just be using Hornvipers if they're comfortable with a 700m/s loadout. Those sting even worse if they can aim.

Well, one thing to think about is that those factions are essentially Nomads. If the Nomads didn't have access to any of these prototype weapons for whatever reason and they didn't have access to anymore of the human native guns for whatever reason, necessity is the mother of invention. The Nomads want to survive just like any other animal does. The same drive that will force a Kruger who just had his cargo destroyed by a Mercenary hired by Daumann to join the Hessians will force a Nomad to develop part of itself a living weapon on a human ship.
So is it really bad RP? Well, not really. It's just a different RP from what you originally expected. The Wilde are trying to live with what they have. Their situation is and always will be extremely dire. The thought that they would figure a new way to mount themselves onto a piece of metal (oh baby) is not exactly extraordinary. To some, it's really to be expected.
Is it really bad RP? No. It's different RP. And perhaps at some point, you'll have the opportunity to mount a 600m/s gun on a Rheinland ship yourself instead of a 700m/s gun when you develop that RP in your own direction as a part of the faction. If you want to be a part of the faction, that is. Not that I'm a part of the faction. I'm just saying that if you think the RP is so terrible, why not develop an alternative and present it to the Wilde instead?

I got what you are talking about. BUT.
If that Emissary sabre is just nomad being inside steel shell - then why the hell it has 3 krakens, inferno and acts(RPing) like human?
Wilde are JUST infected navy pilots. So it would be perfect if their ships were equipped in same way to RM/KNF ones.

Well my alternative would be for them to use standard ol' KNF or RM gear. But that wouldnt give them a pvp advantage so I doubt it will a big hit with the Wilde community.
Maybe I will adapt my RP to be "different" too. My character was embraced by the mother of ingenuity through the need for betta gunz, so he scratched a blue nipple off a dead nomad with his fingernail, stuck it on his ship, and now fires 700 m/s nomad lazors of death with it, powering it with the power of his own awesomeness.
To Spazzy^^
I did. I asked "it". It said that it is a women and that guns are "gift" And she "dunno how does that works".
Then i asked why isn't this ship in outcast research complex yet ("it" had OC IFF). Answer was "they wanna get it, but I say NO". In my opinion every navy pilot have responsibilities and can't just refuse commonwealth without effects.
I show you that people who are expected to be example of good RP do that crapy.
Vote up for nice SRP story, Decerebrated.Individual
It's alright Sava... Let them have their toys. They are only blue dots anyways, how do they attach them to sabres and fire them I don't know.
It's magic, probably.
Their ships are actually nomad ships with a sabre shell.
You guys dissapoint me. You call this Q.Q ing, while all the guy wants to say how riddiculous this looks and tries to help the community realize it. I know Sava and he can pew pew pew 90% of the server no prob, there is no Q.Q here.

Most of Das Wilde members are using human weapons on their wraiths anyway. The OP lasers nor the OP cannons/blasters fit with Rheinland guns.

Some of our members do use all human gear, of the faction they are pretending to be a part of.
Some of the "open, break everything" wilde use a mix of gear, to represent their mixed heritage.
