oh right, but that is nearly impossible to make tham stick together as they should if the surface is not flat.
I made almost my best on textures, but belive me, in space you will not notice that
' Wrote:Uhm... You could try making the front container square-ish like normal container model so it doesnt look like triangle with one enge broken off...
tried, it does not that well at all. Way too blocky...way too much.
The texturing is too monotonous. it needs more trimmings and other "beautification" for starters. the thing enoch mentioned is another problem- your textures' edges are not aligned and that is a problem. you need to make sure that the textures you used either fit or are properly aligned with the adjacent faces as well. this is where trimmings comes into play, and you can use it to "break" the flow of textures as well.
got a screenshot of just the mesh and wireframe (2 images)?
Can do.
Will get its textures off, and make wire screen, mesh with rounded corners ( as it is now ) and one from inside ( to make you sure it has no odds inside).
In an hour or so, when my PC will be available
See the bulge where the turrets are? Could you use the Rhino's texture there? It's the sort of wooden-like texture that the Rhino uses on it's bulge bit.
