Hey! Who leaked that there'll be new explosion anims?!

Huh. Does this mean it's currently possible to make a random blind jump into New Anglia or New Cambria? Or... Bastille?
Using a jumpdrive to get to a system with no other connections to Sirius is something I hadn't even considered before. It'd be cool to toss in a few more "isolated" systems at some point, like teschy mentioned.

The chances of that happening are slim to none, though. You'd need prodigious amounts of fuel, and you're more likely to die by randomly jumping into a star or planet than you are to get to a system that's not connected to Sirius.

Gotta disagree with you on this one Zapp, it's dangerously easy to get into those 3 systems.
Blind jumps seemingly have a range of about 2 systems over.
IE, Hamburg -> Kansas -> Chester (I think) was a route I did in a Rheinland battleship. 2 Jumps without needing to refuel.
There is no black list of systems so you have the exact same chance of reaching Londonderry as you might New Cambria, if you jumped from New London. I'm not sure on the system distances involved there but the principle remains in the same.
Please note that if you end up in those systems, you can't get out if you run out of fuel.
You will be need to be rescued by someone.
Who then risks being stuck themselves.
Oh the fun of it all.
I think yous should decide whether you want the blind jump to be a penalty or a feature.
If you're going to make it a penalty, don't put fancy new systems in the game that people are going to want to explore, that you can only get to by blind jumping.
If you're going to make it a feature, well, there are a whole bunch of problems with it right now. It would really suck to make a blind jump, end up in a star, explode, and respawn to find your jump drive had been destroyed, for one. It would also really suck to get stuck in a disconnected system that doesn't sell fuel to facilitate getting yourself out. Maybe... add some kind of mineable location in these systems, so that those characters who could not dock on the system's bases could mine for fuel, and get out that way?
Also, most factions have a ZOI, and many have ID restrictions saying things like 'cannot dock in house space' or 'cannot enter a system that has a jump gate'. Nobody's going to want to blind jump if they're risking getting sanctioned because they ended up someplace they shouldn't be. So it almost seems like the blind jump was intended only for those factions that have a truly unlimited range.

New equipment that allows you to collect H-fuel from sun corona.:)
There is NO problem that can`t be solved by the use of high explosives.

A lot of ships... lore and design wise do have Hydrogen Scoops on them to supplement their own fuel supplies. I wonder if there could be a ship addition (IE a module like a carrier bay slot) that makes it so you gain like... one H-Fuel commodity for every 20-30 K traveled or something.
