The monthly rental fee for September, 70.000.000 s.c. has been transferred to the account Ferris.Dufresne again.
Also, are there any news regarding a cruiser patrol yet?
I'm sure you're a respectable gentleman and you've paid fees up to this date without hassle - The government appreciates this, I'm sure.
I haven't been fully looped in as to your request - Getting information out of the Liberty Diplomats can be like pulling teeth. Yes, I said that, Hawthorne.
Unfortunately, in Section Three, Subsection V of Liberty Laws clearly states that no foreign cruisers are permitted within Liberty borders. Including your station within Liberty cruiser patrol paths isn't an option either - The Grande Negra provides intense navigational problems for Cruisers.
I'd suggest keeping a small wing of fighters and bombers on board your station in case of immediate attack - Liberty forces wont be far behind.
Thank you for your fast response.
I'm glad that the government of Liberty finally found consensus concerning private cruiser support. Getting information out of diplomats can indeed be quite hard, like you stated, after all I've been told at the beginning of June that there should be an answer on that madder "soon".
You said you "haven't been fully looped in". Are you our new contact person regarding base affairs?
Signed,
Sam Donalds

I only made an appearance here because privately-owned cruisers are a matter of house security and that falls squarely under my responsibilities. So, no, I wont be your new contact for base concerns, unless it directly conflicts with house security.
I had trouble finding the exact details of the cruisers being requested - However, this point is moot considering the law forbids any foreign cruisers permanent clearance within Liberty.
You'll have your monthly updates from Secretary Hawthorne as per usual.
Yes, we didn't provide any data about cruisers, in fact it was Mr. Hawthorne asking us about our position to such:

I have also received a request concerning private cruiser support for bases. We are currently discussing whether this would be in the interests of the Republic of Liberty, and should have an answer soon. As part of this discussion, I would like your views as to whether, given the opportunity, the Junkers would invest in privately owned cruiser-class ships to add to the security of your base. I understand that the Junkers do not intervene with force in the majority of disputes, but it is a question worth asking. Of course, nothing is final yet..

I'm sorry for mistaking you for my new contact person, it might have appeared like this because i didn't expect an Admiral answering on behalf of the governmental instance of the Republic.
So basically you're informing me that nothing has changed yet and politicians are still discussing about that madder? Alright, once this changes and we know about the restrictions coming with a cruiser permission, we'll poke around which possibilities are available, after all we Junkers don't deploy cruisers on ourselves, we'd have to hire someone.
Signed,
Sam Donalds
