Alright. While I applaud your efforts to organize, and believe me, the RP has come a way from when you first started here, but if your second-highest ranks act the way I just saw in Omega 5, I hope you do not have a place on this server.
Very little RP except from the one I was talking too, then all of a sudden three Titans and a Gunboat show up against one VHF. I offer a duel one on one with the member I was RP-ing with, and without a notice, without a confirmation of acceptance, without anything other than nuke mines flying in my face, I'm engaged.
The first two I let go, didn't move, and waited for SOMETHING from the superiors, but nothing. So rather than be destroyed so you can get your blue-message, I docked. So now, technically, I'm four hours off (Thanks rules).
Now, I did talk to a Fausto, who's conspicuously missing from the roster, and he did mention he would talk to the individual(s) involved, but I would expect a LOT better if you think to go official.
I would also add something here:
I've never had a good experience with HAF - or at least an experience at the level I'd expect of an official faction, or even perhaps a roleplayer. Maybe I don't get on enough, and maybe I've missed your good roleplayers.
Give them name guys. I saw many Corsair newbies who just took HAF tag without even asking any of them. On the other hand, I had really bad (OO)RP experiences with some known members of the official factions, so that is not a measure of faction's success. There are rotten apples all around is my point. They've been here much longer then most of us and most of them have great RP, I can't recall last time some of them were sanctioned and if there were foundations for it I'm sure somebody would report them.
1. Get someone to go through your entire post and correct spelling and grammar mistakes. Pay them if neccessary. Also tidy up formatting to make it more presentable if you want this to be your official faction status. I know it sounds petty but at present it reads quite horribly. Also, remove unneccessary information such as the massive list of all weapons that you allow, when you could simply say "all corsair, order or universal Sirius guns"
2. Check over your zone of operations; for instance Salisbury, Londonderry and Orkney I would definitely consider outside of the corsair ZOI and would query the sanity of any corsair pilot present there.
3. Maybe you ought to consider condensing your history to make it more readable, or putting it elsewhere via a link and instead inserting a clearer mission statement about what the HAF does on a daily basis which differentiates it from the other corsair factions.
Ah, yes, as Shark said, there are rotten apples in every faction, but thats not a excuse, we know that, every faction have many people, as beginners for example, who dont know the RP yet, so, they should learn huh?, nobody is perfect from the beginning, if there are some people, who dont want play according our rules, yes, we will separate this people from our wings.
About the attack to SCRA pilot in omega 5, yes, he was warned by HAF pilots, but seems, sometimes, we only read our own words in the chat board. He refused and he was looking for a PvP and was late, he was destroyed, (according with our "military" politics, the HAF pilot was acting under orders)
Sprolf, you cannot judge to the whole group bassed in past facts, all over if those things right now have been put in order, ill invite you to rp with us.
Cienfeugos: They certainly weren't beginners.
And from where should I make my judgement of the faction? Your assurance that it is in fact good? Or the faction's beahviour as I have seen it?
And yes, I would advise taking enemy guard systems off your ZoI.
I'd hate to see an Osiris staring me down next time I undock from Garvagh... Guard systems really exist as training and resupply points for factions, not as battlegrounds. That is, unless otherwise specified.
Also, if you'd like, I could take a stab at cleaning this up for you all.
Le Maitre, Forgive if I do not speak and write fluent English, but this is internet, and many people play here no matter their origin, for that reason, wisely, the administrators have put a rule only: English should be intelligible, perfect no.
About the ZOI, yes, we are agree with you, we must fix this issues about the guard systems, and all those far systems. Also about the history board, because its a long history (people dont like read long histories now) We will put the history in the adequate board and next we will put a link.
About our gun list, I dont understand, maybe someone can say this is a long list, but nothing is enough when we have all things clear, we dont use The Order Guns, for example, (except with permission) thats important for us. Btw, other people can say this isnt a complete list of guns if we only write corsair, universal, guns and equipment.
Dont make this thread in another antihaf flamewar... we are asking for suggestions. The rest of the community has to accept that we are here and we are ?another bunch of corsairs?(discowiki style:)).
And for the most experienced players ingame/forum, should have readed the post #5 when i say that the guard systems was my mistake. I made it when i done the final touchs to the Petition, and they will be corrected.
And for the HARD to READ english matter, anybody is welcome to help us out, as you must know, most of us (or the eldest HAF players on the server) arent English speakers, so it took the twice of effort make the history (it was a very good history in spanish, but its very difficult to make the translation and a lot is lost in the process, english grammar is a simple one good for learnig but the spanish one is a pain on the ass and when one gets used to it its very difficult to loose the uses. In fact when you translate textually from english to spanish sounds like a 2 year old kid with ?issues?, i think in the other way is the same, so be tolerant).

A gross misrepresentation of the facts. Would you like me to tell you how it really went down? I didn't want to throw names down and have it be a trial by forum, and I still will be the better man and not do it now.
I was flying through O5 to Ronneburg when I was caught on scanners by a couple of HAF. I kept on my merry way, and once at Ronneburg, turned under the protection of the station's guns to continue the RP of being asked to leave the system.
One HAF, we'll call them "M-Ab" stayed within sensor range throughout and stationed a couple klicks away from the station and RP'd with me, telling me to leave the system. i told him I did not want to leave the system, and issued a challenge to M-Ab to fight one-on-one without calling in his other cronies in the system.
At this point three other HAF came within range, we'll call them M-Fa, M-Mi, and C-JG. While still RPing that I had issued a one v one challenge to M-Ab, M-Mi begins to fly close and starts dropping Nuke mines at me. The first one I let go, as it didn't drop my shields. The second one dropped my shields and I asked M-Mi to stop firing at me, as I had issued a challenge to M-Ab.
The third mine took my regenerated shields down again, then another dropped my hull to half. I decided to dock with Ronneburg at this point because a fair fight seemed to be out of the realm of possibility, and deprived them of their blue message. I PM'd who I thought was the leader of the group, which was M-Fa, and explained my feelings toward how the encounter went down.
M-Fa explained to me that apparently M-Mi was the "one designated to fight you" in the challenge I issued. Now I find that amusing because there was not ONE line of RP from any of the HAF involved saying this was the case.
So, no notice of engagement from any of the HAF, no word that my challenge was accepted, no word that, once accepted, who would be fighting. And apparently no responsibility taken for the actions of your people either.
