Yeah that symbol aint a Maltese cross a maltese cross has a triangular shape taken out the tips of each bit.
The iron cross is a solid cross... i know this because for sooo damn long i thought the iron cross was practically the same as the maltese cross, and actually used a iron cross in the RoS symbol which was silly on my part.
' Wrote:Remember that you can also use (and should at the very least include, as that's what Bundschuh NPCs fly) Border Worlds ships, including the Sabre, Switchblade, Scimitar and Falcata.
Oh yeah, thank you for reminding me.
' Wrote:1) Seems thoroughly reasonable, even though your faction logo (the Rheinland green eagle with a Maltese cross in the middle?) seems, symbolically speaking, to be as contrary to the Bundschuh's nature as it's possible to get (unless, of course, you're intentionally using such an insignia, thereby making an ironic statement).
2) Check with the Red Hessians before you take their stuff (shipline as well as equipment), though, alright? Your pilots should, otherwise, definitely be flying Border Worlds spacecraft, and shooting Lugers or "universal" weaponry.
3) You also have a strangely militaristic set of ranks - quite odd, given that the Bundschuh are essentially an armed civilian resistance movement (and, even if we -do- accept that you intend to roleplay a more militarized Bundschuh, the ranks top out at a rather illogically extravagant level - "Generals" within the Bundschuh?).
Looking forward to seeing you gents ingame, in Frankfurt and elsewhere. Long live the Revolution!
1) The Faction logo is the same one as the NPC faction.
2) I Sent Blodo a PM prior to creating this thread and got the green for use of Red Hessian Ships and Equipment.
3) And yea, I am going to change the ranks, they are quite odd. I'll look at having 4 or five.
' Wrote:You have it now. You did not have it earlier.
I did have prior consent from Blodo, I PM'd him and asked prior to making this thread.

If you come off as criminals you will not build a good relations with the neighbors once you get the control (ha). But you see my point don't you?
Perhaps for the first time you meet a foreigner trader it is better to divert his route and explain to him why the space blockade was made instead of taking his goods and having him place you in the same box with "Miners that are upset and now shoot things"
Thatis of course what I'm aiming for, I read all the info about them and thought it through good and proper. The only thing we will be doing remotly like pirating is disrupting shipments that will help the Current Rheinland Government.
' Wrote:No Idea. But I want to make a fresh start. If they still exist, they will of course have a first say in most matters. We will stand by them obviously.
If you'd simply join the VF), they'd get more active members, which will make them able to do some stuff.
If it'd be a subgroup within the bundies with a somewhat different goal, why not? But a copypasta? Better off joining the VF), trust me.

If I join the VF) I'm most likely going to end up on my own online. In my opinion. If they are that inactive that I'll be the only one online, it would kinda suck. I just want to start anew. Try to freshen things up a little.
' Wrote:I suggest to keep your hierarchical structure as flat as possible. As somebody mentioned before: it's not a military rather than a political faction. Eradicate like two thirds of your ranks and focus more on civilian ranks, such as "Parteimitglied" or "Parteifuehrer/in"
"Parteivorsitzende/r" would be the term if you ask me. And I have to give you kudos for still trying to tell Disco to use 'ue' and not only the 'u'. I've given up on that.
As for the VF), at first I thought this was some kind of renaming-action, because I have seen one of them recently. They are still there, hence I have to concur. Take whatever recruits you have and join them. You heard it, they urgently need members. And well, the same will happen to you. Small factions aren't very attractive (except if they have a kill-license), and certainly not enough to have two of them on the same npc-faction. Won't work if you ask me
' Wrote:Go play the game, within the given limitations. That is how role play games are played. Not by trying to work around those limitations or whining about them.
Due to the repeated "Join the VF), Join the VF) join the VF)" comments, I've decided to enquire about their status and Recruitment program, I want to see if it is worthwhile joining them, or if I will be their only active member, and be stuck at the recruit rank.
I also want to make it clear, that my faction is mean to fit in as a component of the VF) Or Vice versa, As I meant for this to be more of a Logistical and Background faction then an 'Armed Forces' Branch like the VF). Just incase people were thinking I was trying to replace the VF). I mean for the two factions to work closely with each other. Not to overwrite the VF).

Freshings things up? Heck yes. Copypasta? Please not. You get no real credits from stealing a faction, at least try to be original... (I don't wanna sound mean or anything, it's a personal opinion.)
I like it.
I can't remember when I last saw more than one VF. Why don't they join you?
The MR had great success taking over the Mollys for a while, after the UOG virtually died.
It will be nice to see Rheinland unlawfuls concentrating on Rheinland for a change.
So good luck to you, I will look forward to meeting you...I think
