Patrol summary:
Well, nothing interesting really. I scanned a total of eight vessels in Kyushu, and had no problems. Samura and Kishiro are highly active, and freelancer trade seems to be increasing, though most are abiding by Kusari law.
Oh, there was one interesting thing: I had a Corsair Freighter with Plutonium come through my checkpoint. I know we treat Plutonium as a restricted commodity when it is being exported to the Taus, but it's not like a Corsair is going to sell it to a Bretonian anyway! Even if he did sell it in Bretonia, it could only be to the Gaians, so they can go blow up Bretonians! So take my badge, but I let the man through.
----
I received a call to arms against a group of Sentai who were not so far from New Tokyo. The Kusari Imperial Yacht managed to scare them off, and even managed to land a kill so I didn't get to see any combat.
Later that day, Sakura Kai and myself located a Junker carrying artifacts in front of New Tokyo. This is a restricted good, and warrants immediate drop of cargo. We told the Junker to halt his engines, but he managed to land on New Tokyo. Sakura Kai followed, to locate the Junker I presume. I remained in orbit for some time, patiently waiting for the Junker.
Finally, I located the Junker in orbit and initiated a cargo scan. He had dropped off the cargo on New Tokyo, but not paid the 2 million credit fine. He would not respond, and fortunately a Kusari State Police bomber arrived, because things got hot pretty fast! The Junker claimed that a Kishiro heavy lifter opened fire on him, but I did not trust the smuggler. We reduced his gaijin transport to scrap metal.
Shortly after, I provided escort of a Renzu ship to Planet Honshu. She was rather... well... I think she loves Sakura Kai. She's a twisted one, and she won't stop calling me her "cabbage." *laughs*
It was a long time since my last report. Don't know why, but until now, things were quite calm. I have a bad feeling, that things are going to change.
Today i operated with Sakura Kai-san. She asked me to fly to Kyushu system with her, because patrol units reported several Gunboats. Kai-san was forced to land on planet New Tokyo, and switch her combat vessel. Two drakes wouldn't be match for gunboat class, neither one or more. With her in Shiraha, and kind hogosha officer flying Very Heavy Fighter named Dragon's Eye, which joined us, we entered Kyushu system. Typically, pirates cowardly ran away, without any warning needed. After some cargo scans of few traders flying across Kusari, Dragon's Eye left us. Kai-san (why was unknown to me for the first time) entered Shikoku system. Then i noticed. She encountered one pirate vessel, which belonged to Liberty pirate - Lane Hacker. She also reported me a pirate transport, but when i got there, i didn't see any. I must say she is amazing. I'm pretty sure, that if she didn't act that quick, lot of civilians would die, near Kepler jump gate. For the first time i was there with that Hacker alone.I tried to make him leave, although i finally know why they are allies of Drug heads Outcasts. After some time another hacker entered Shikoku. This same whelp, started full battle. I foolishly asked Kai-san for assistance. She fought bravely, but against skilled pilot, fighting in Sabre, she couldn't stand a chance.
It... it was all my fault.... I was engaging hacker bomber, instead of covering her by engaging VHF. The one in bomber fought like a coward. Mostly he was just evading, and running away from me, relying on his wingmens cover fire. I don't know how much chances i have alone in drake against two, so i started unwisely spamming my cannonbals.
My vessel was, same like Kai-san's, destroyed, gladly both of us survived. I'm just worried, how much innocent lives I jeopardized with mine failure along.
Criminals:
Kit.Vixen - Broadsword (Lane Hacker Bomber)
Phate:: - Sabre (Border worlds Very Heavy Fighter)
I am sorry i have failed...

This is the official request to initiate talks about establishing the Bounty Hunters Guild into the Kusari state affairs. for a long time, kusari space has been in a state of no business for the guild - and the guild was considered to be personae non grata. - i, resp. the guild feels that it is time for a revision of our role though.
major changes have shaken the core space of sirius. - the ever stronger growing edgeworld "states", powerful independent miners that claim space with an iron grip, terrorists and pirates that consider themselves powerful enough to even travel the core territories and challenge the military as well as the newly discovered fifth house require to think again about the dangers and the capabilities to deal with them.
Kusari is no longer a house embedded between two solid houses and the outcast nation. - even when the war effords are going well against bretonia, - liberty and rheinland are becoming destablized and so ... two more borders of kusari are shaking.
regarding to our scouts latest reports, major portions of trade have also been outsourced - and one of the major hubs of trade has gone to okinawa - trade that was formerly occupied by Honshu - at the same time, "activity" of various peer groups have increased in this area.
Kusari is not fighting a war on one side anymore, but is slowly but steadily threatened by many more groups. - and while we are fully aware that the KSP and the KNF are more than capable of dealing with any upcoming threats, - the guild can still assist in matters that might be too "trivial" for the official law forces to deal with.
the guild has been - and is still a quality organization with a highly reliable status. - we do not apply our ideals on others, we are neutral - and only work for the good of mankind. our greatest ambition is to make sirius a safer place for its lawful citizens.
of course - the guild will not meddle with any politics, nor will we comment on those. we do know our place and our business - and our business is the hunt for those elements of the community who are parasitic and who only wish to destroy what others have build up with their honest work.
our talks will proceed away from prying eyes - and i do hope that we can get to a satisfying agreement that will work as the first stepping stone of a new era of a beneficial relationship between the guild and the kusari goverment.
Today i've encountered one Pirate transport with Outcast IFF, escorted by [Kiretsu] GC. The smuggler wa carrying some cardamine, although when i traced them, they were heading already to Hokkaido system. Akimasa-san informed me, about possible Dragon activity near planet New Tokyo. When i reached Shinjuku station, Akimasa already destroyed one Dragon pirating on trade lane from Shinjuku to planet. It was quick really. Izeki-kun must be really skilled pilot. After that he landed on New Tokyo, to take a rest. So i was alone again sitting in front of planet for a while.
I decided to go back to Kyushu to disrupt another possible smuggling in Kyushu system. What surprised me, that I have encountered another pirate destroying trade lane ring on New Tokyo ---> Shinjuku station trade lane. Well.... not really a pirate i guess. Actually a Phantom.
He was telling me about corruption..... just another Dragon stuff.... I asked him to leave
but he attacked me. The fight wasn't long. His bomber was no match against mine drake. But i must admit, he had nasty way of fighting. I...dont know why, but im afraid, that i was just lucky I cached him in bomber. If he had something quicker, i dont know how would that end.
Im sure he will return. Be careful.

Some say that he is allergic to a fungus found only between the toes of Corsairs,
and that he is oblivious to 98% of Liberty Law. All we know is... He's called the Busdriver!
It has been a busy day in Kusari today, with enemies of many kinds within our territory. Fortunately, with the assistance for loyal citizens and helpful visitors, the day has been loss-free for friendly forces.
First was a Bretonian Pirate in New Tokyo, near the Honshu jump gate. [|]Hitomi.Ryuu in his gunboat was first on the scene, and contacted the authorities for assistance. I scrambled my bomber and came to help, finding him engaged with the pirate, one QCP|Abrasive flying a Bretonian-model gunboat. After quite an extended engagement, complete with the pirate attempting to surrender and asking for a trial, we destroyed the ship and hauled it in for scrapping.
Soon afterwards, I was conducting a regular patrol in my Wyrm when a call came in, Consortium forces and another Bretonian pirate detected in Kyushu. Ryuu-san was still here and responded, and we also called for additional assistance. An IMG miner, callsign Cat, was nearby and offered to assist in clearing Kyushu of the undesirables. I accepted his help on behalf of the police, and the three of us jumped to Kyushu.
In Kyushu, a KNF pilot, [KNF]Senzo was already on station and searching for the hostiles. We found them near Planet Kyushu, and all proceeded to intercept. As we approached, we found that there was another hostile pilot, this one affiliated with the GC, one Kyosuke.Takeda. She was the first to fall, taken out by a well-placed volley from Ryuu-san's gunship.
Shortly after that, more friendlies arrived on the scene, a Farmer, [AFA]Food.For.Thought. He drew the majority of the fire for the rest of the engagement, but his ship's tough shields and hull were able to take it. It wasn't long before one of the \CS\ fell, victim to the miner's guns.
It was at this time that the Bretonian pirate made his appearance. QCP|Curuthers cruised in, flying a Bretonian military-issue Challenger bomber. While Senzo-san and I pursued the fleeing \CS\ ship, The others engaged the bomber and quickly defeated it.
The \CS\ ship disappeared into the cloud shortly after that, so Senzo-san and I returned to Planet Kyushu. I thanked Cat for the help, and he responded positively. Afterwards, I decided to end my patrols, and returned to New Tokyo.
As we are fighting enemies from all sides, it is important, I think, to know that we have a dedicated populace and good friends that will come to Kusari's aid if only we ask them. This is the strength of our society, and I believe this strength will play a key role in our eventual victory.
Well, I had an interesting experience in Kyushu. The moment I lifted off, my scanners detected an Outcast bomber. I followed him up the lane, ordering him to leave Kusari. The comms were silent as I lost him in the trade lane... until my sensors detected the bomber and a gunship! I broke out of the trade lane, and was within range of both Outcasts, and called for help. Suddenly, they charged in! I did my best to take them both down, but I could only land one Supernova shot on the Outcast gunship's hull.
I responded to an emergency call earlier warning the barracks of a Bretonia Gunboat, GoldenHind. Chiyoko Natsume and I lifted off our bombers and began to sweep the area. I finally got a contact between Planet New Tokyo and Planet Fuji. The gunboat headed for the Chiba field with myself and a Naval Forces Officer, Aftyn, in pursuit. Chiyoko-chan attempted an intercept as the gunboat crossed the lane but did not manage to disrupt the cruise engines. We pursued the gunboat through an anomaly to the Honshu system. I was falling behind, and decided to attempt to flank the gunboat. I waited at Akita, and as the gunboat passed I got within range to fire a disruptor. We successfully haulted the GoldenHind just outside the Hiryo Cloud. The gunboat opened fire, but we eventually crippled it.
Konnichiwa, I've got two incidents to report. A Citizen reported a Blood Dragon bomber at Yokohama Shipyard. I deployed my bomber in response to the threat. The Dragon insulted by honor by calling me a traitor to Kusari. I decided to regain my honor by destroying him, instead of taking him into custody. He was a very capable pilot, but my training paid off.
The second incident spanned over much time. Chikoyo was in pursuit of some Privateers for quite some time. At last, she located them, and called for help. I charged in as the fighter fled with a Black Dragon in pursuit. Chikoyo managed to lock the gunboat into combat, which we attacked together. The head pilot had very capable maneuvers, let it be noted. However, we managed to cripple the gunboat with persistence... and antimatter.
