I'm liking the open-minded attitude coming from all parties. From the newest clan to attempt integration into Disco, to immediately say you will join other factions to aid your understanding of Discovery , shows incredible foresight that other imported clans have lacked. From the community in general this serves as a reminder that when we are treated with decency and respect it is repaid in kind. Should the BPS continue in this vein and should the community do likewise this should serve as a valuable aid to any furutre clans of how to introduce themselves to the community.
It's good to see that the players in the BPS really want to be a part of Bretonian RP. To the extent that they will join the established Bretonian lawfuls to get a better picture. However I would also say that joining in with other houses could also be to your advantage. There is nothing finer than learning how the other half life after all.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
Just thought I'd toss it in here, something that I've written thrice but for some reason only just posted for the first time: The Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law
It seems that there is some kind of Divine force that keep bringing the BPS and the OPG together. I would like to welcome my old enemies and friends the BPS to discovery. Ive seen a couple of you in space but not you yet Chilli so from your old Amigo Gentle a very warm welcome.
If there is anyone qualified to call themselves and elite force in bretonia I would expect the BPS to be able to step up to the place very nicely. The OPG and BPS have battled against one another for many years and I can wholeheartedly say I know that from experience Bretonia will be a safer place for thsoe law loving pond floaters that the OPG has been taxing and smashing for some time now.
I have an immense amount of respect for you and your faction already, thanks to your factional post and great attempts to integrate and investigate.
The QCRF, as I understand it, is an eccentric umbrella organisation led by several Commodores consisting of the Regulars (a regular assault force) the Own (an elite fighting force) and the Privateers (Bretonian sanctioned pirates interdicting Kusari benefitting shipments). So, since there are 11 Admirals, I see no issue with you roleplaying one of them, and you'd add something new and interesting to this community and a new front to the BAF.
' Wrote:Queen Carina would be the commander-in-chief of the Bretonian Armed Forces and by extension the Bretonian Royal Navy, though.
She is also a member of the Admiralty, albeit up until recently an honorary one. With the creation of Queen Carina's Royal Fleet (named so for a reason), she kind of got a bit more involved, but not really. She has minions to do the donkey work.
This gives some seniority to the guard system owning QCRF, I feel, but leaves plenty room for others to play.
Wouldn't she outrank the Minister of Defence and the currently unoccupied rank of Fleet Admiral, though? That would make holding the rank of Admiral redundant, given she holds a rank 3 rungs above it already.

The Minister of Defence isn't a rank, it's a civilian position, if following modern analogues.
I would assume that there would be a Fleet Admiral in the Admiralty, and possibly Rear-Admirals too, depending on the Admiral's own home base.
Could be possible... the previous ones, "Firebird" and "Hyperwave", retired. I was speaking of rank in a more informal sense when mentioning the Minister of Defence, in the sense of a chain of command, civilian or military. The Minister of Defence theoretically would outrank the Fleet Admiral, though by that standard it is also possible to place the Prime Minister between the Queen and the Minister of Defence.
