Hate to say it, but I LOVE my Solaris turrets. 5 Solaris turrets, and one Cerberus turrets for taking care of business. I hunt Wild most of the time, and I have to say, my gunship is excellent. If only the bastards didn't have so much hull strength... I mean, are they solid steel???

No. I want to make some veriety out there and see if anyone wants to contribute any ideas. I want to expand the width and bredth of Discovery not play some fighter Jock vs Cap Hugger BS here. So, please be respectfull on this post or dont post.
This is just there for brainstorming and day dreaming see what we come up with. I'm sure anyone would love to have input on some if any new flavors; to be had by Disco, at some time in the future.
Back to guns, grape shot or gatlin? Possibley even something else?
Flamethrowers were used in WWI to repel charges. In the same line, make a gun with a refire of 8.33 or below that has a monstrously wide projectile, but is less efficient than solaris or other regular guns. That way, it's only effective against fighters, so by buying these you'd be specializing instead of just making your cap better. Have an energy "ring" effect, maybe like a really fat Cerberus.
Note: the amount of projectiles causes lag, not displaying them - that's client side. Hope that helps. The server has to monitor where they go, what they hit, at all times.
