I am giddy for this model. Personally, it looks far more in line with what a heavy miner is meant to look like. Too many people here are influenced by the notion that its pvp performance might be affected if the model changes, which is a shame. I think this one is far more immersive.
the turret placement is OK - from what one can see
what you may like to add is:
- engine effects ( in case there is one - i couldn t really see it )
- running lights or headlights - the ship is quite dark without. ( that is - a few more running lights - looks like it only has like 3 or 4 - a ship of that size ... especially a utility ship - might have more )
also
is the hitbox working? - bump into stationary objects / pebbles - and test vs. various kinds of NPCs ( so you can check it out vs. missiles, CDs, weapontypes )

Just saw this, and Grou, I reaffirm here and now my eternal love for your work. I like how you mantained the mining style, "hegemon junior" is the perfect definition, and it also qualifies for an excellent general purpouse civilian freighter, given its similarities also with the civilian transport (the fore part expecially). Good job!
