If someone is actually worried about getting reported they can screenie them being dropped/tractored, the same way a pirate needs to screenie his "3millOrDie!" in case he gets reprted with just a screenie of him blowing up a trader.
The examples you are giving here would only occur if the person is really ill-willed and trying to cause trouble for other people, which I don't see very likely. There is also no point in making a comparison between an F1 incident and bat/bot transfer as the two are distinct things.
I have to concur. This is and has always been a failthread.
Still, it was worth trying to show how there's nothing oorp about trading bots/bats during a fight and no server rule that presides over the act beyond normal engagement rules.
Firing my guns is also a pvp tactic, I'd hope that's not also declared oorp as well should I find myself firing upon you.

From what I see that is the exception rather than the rule for most violation reports. "You got me on the server so I am going to report you"

There is a point in that both are violations that can't be absolutely proved, as is almost every violation that can't be shown in chat (like swearing) or in a scan (like that BD ID and tag in a Kusari GB pirateing in Magellian I saw the other day.
Bat and bot trading can be shown on a screenie, while it isn't 100% it's a pretty good indication it happened, and if you are worried about getting reported you can prove it by screening your drop, the same way pirates often need to screenie their money demand.
First screenshot shows a ship in front of you.
Second screenshot shows a empty space in front of you with the message "X is on his way out the door"
I report them all the time. Sorry traders!
Reporting of bots and bats is pretty simple, as you simply need to report a fellow re-engaging into a fight, as that's the only way that you could possibly report it as a rule violation.
Okay if someone really wanted to, they could keep hitting the print screen button and use the date stamp on the images to show when the botts were added, and they might even get enough images to show that they weren't tractored in. But would the date stamp be altered by converting the image to a jpeg before uploading it to photobucket...someone could tamper with an image.....anything could happen.
But where's the fun in that?
Unenforceable, and not worth the effort of enforcing, considering the stuff people actually do.
I vote to leave trading bb's stand, and i am going. All of you, go play in space now. And keep your finger on the fire button or the chat button, not the print screen one.

Reporting someone with false information is a very good reason to get perma banned. That's why I find your example ill, very ill indeed. It also means cheating the administration, which non of us would like to see.
And who on earth says both are violations? Bat/Bot transfer is NOT a violation. Are you a rule writer?
Your positions would be a bit stronger if your defense didn't necessitate taking things out of context and making lulz.
Of course your positions would also be a bit stronger if they weren't entirely based on your desire to see universal application to remedies for perceived slights directed at your person.
akuma, side A has 10 ships with 500 bots/bats, side B has 12 ships with 600 bots/bats.
fight start, some memebrs use bots/bats, other think they are enough good to dodge, to they dont need them and give them to others.
are still in fight 500 bots/bats on one side and 600 on other ? (for example)
what is oorp on that?
is big difference explode, come back and give bots/bats, or give them to someone still in fight.
and how you will report it? you make screen of someone with 60 bats, then with 15, then with 60 ? or how ? and what rule it violate? ???
i readed the rules many times and i see nowhere that giving someone bats in fight is against them , or agains roleplay... it is called SUPPORT...
and as i typed, difference is when you explode and come back, because they you violate rules.
