Previously I was working as a freelance light and sound tech guy for theatres. Throwing in writing, acting, directing and so on which was stuff I enjoyed and used to top up my income a bit... Maybe four or five acting jobs a year, and my own theatre company, who were producing a couple of original works each year for the UK's fringe theatre festival circuit. (Never go to Edinburgh - great for audiences, bad for your bank balance)
Currently I'm a programmer-in-training. Not technically a student as I'm teaching myself, but that's added on top of my regular role as customer service with a financial company.
