Oh god, how I loved MW 2, MW 3 (IMO the best sofar of its "simstyle") and MW4. I had been active for years around 2000-2002 in MW 4.
Sometimes I miss those old times really, but on the other hand I am not interested in MW 4 right now.
Anyway I just noticed that the Dragon has been confirmed as another mech. Looks quite good and gives the Battletech original art style some sort of more militaristic style. I like it so far.
Private First Class Guillotine of the 10th Skye Rangers!

' Wrote:By 3048, the lostech is mostly already gone, thanks to Comstar's little upgrade program, to secretly get the Successor States ready for the Clan Invasion.
However, that still represents a VERY small portion of standing House Militaries.
So, it should "mostly" be the standard 3rd SW gear. Until the clans show up.
Then thats when it gets really fun.
*secretly hopes this game will have TR3025 Warhammer*
But, the Rasalhague Republic is around in this time
There will be lots of lost tech. Grey death found the memery core, and been passing copies around by 3049. The Wolfhound was made pre clan invasion using lost tech from the memory core.
Marik has LBC/10's
Kurita, and FS have ER PPCs. Med pulse, ER L lasers. Ultra/5's
Everyone has Artemis LRMs and arrow IVs
Actually iT is FC not FS my bad.
Alot of the basic mechs are being refitted with weapons mentioned above.
Mind you no gauss/ER med/ER small/L pulse/S pulse/Streaks/ LBX2/5/20/Ultra2/10/20 until slans show up in 3050.
So expect 1 year after release to see clans.
Also read the early books before dark age. At last count i got just under 100 of them.
Oh guess what mech i want when clans show up:rolleyes:
if you can pilot the hollander II mech then i will probs check it out, otherwise.. meh, it suffers from the same "seen it before" syndrome that all re-releases of titles suffer.
