"Thanks honey" she smiled again giving him a blowkiss. Lachina made a few steps but then she turned back for a moment before continuing towards the bartender.
"Good luck with her assets" she looked at Danielle's chest "if you manage to find any"
"In my 6 years at the company, I served under many presidents, Micheal Trenton, Araevin Teshurr, Denny Crane, Charles Brown, and the recently appointed James Barlow. Not once did I get offered such a position...
Danielle sighed , trying to find words to make herself look good.
"When James Barlow was hired his soul job was to create a mining division for USI, 5 months later he's running the place."
She rolls her eyes taking a sip from her recently arrived glass.
"Besides, I wasn't been challenged enough there, they taught me everything I knew, but that's it, they haven't been able to give me what I want, simple as that."
Danielle gently placed her glass back onto the table, taking a quick glance over to the bar where the woman ordered her drink. A singular word crept into her head, though saying it wouldn't have been professional.
*Stirling pushed his back against the seat and lit a new cigar. Seeing how the eyes of Danielle suddenly became dangerous when she looked at the woman who so openly dissed her.*
"That's what I wanted to see, some fire."
*He thought to himself about Danielle.*
"And what about that other question of mine, about the non-compete agreement?"
Danielle slowly turned back, not realizing Stirling was still looking at her .
She took another sip from her glass; she looked up to Stirling, smiled, then learned in.
"What non-compete agreement?"
Danielle leaned back into her chair, still smiling.
"Splendid. You know, we at the IND are always looking out for new 'business opportunities', those may or may not include hostile takeovers, as my flagship is appropriately named. Hence me asking."
*He took a sip of his drink and smoked his cigar for a minute or two in silence, looking at Danielle.*
"Right, one last question than. What do you think is going on here?"
*Pointing his hand over the entire bar.*
"Not just the bar, but this station. I want your personal and educated guess."
Danielle didn't fully understand the question, she squinted slightly before taking a look around the bar again. Taking note of everyone body language and appearance, some were smart, cocky, semi-handsome looking, while others were loud, sloppy, somewhat shady as well.
Then it hit her, it wasn't just IND, judging by some of the tattoos on show it was some sort of gang.
Danielle smiled to herself, then turned back to Stirling.
"All I see are two groups which are showing neutral understandings towards one or more of said parties."
Danielle took a sip from her glass, thinking she would make a decent lawyer.
"Business is business, everyone has their objectives, and everyone has their weaknesses, business is simply exploiting them."

Amber was somewhat startled by the recent company she had managed to attract. As Emily turned to her left to see who she was in company of, she noticed she had never met this woman before.
Amber smiled politely. "Hey"
Amber laughed, it was a nice change to have someone to drink with instead of having a ninja ram a Katana through her hand. "Emily Anderson... aka Amber" she said. Looking down at the glass of vodka Cerise offered. "Sure...". Emily smiled, taking a sip from the glass. "Lachina, that's a rare name..."
