I played the Beta a couple of times, just couldn't get into it like I did with Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. Maybe I'm better off as a solo player of RPG's. I had a fast enough PC and big enough monitor - I just for whatever reason never really felt like I was playing TES.

So essentially you paid the devs to do bugtesting for them and get spoilers for an unfinished game.
What the hell is wrong with you people these days.

Don't get me wrong.
Closed betas with entry-fees makes sense in this case, when the developers need to host servers for a multiplayer game. Then yes, it makes sense.
And the participants get paid in tester-only goodies.

ESO didn't transport me. Pretty standard themepark fantasy MMO at this stage in development. I've seen little to convince me that they've a few surprises up their sleeve to break in a fresh direction.
Guess it's back to standing around wringing my hands with the rest of the Star Citizen muppets.
I was in 4 Seperate Weekend Betas, frankly I was let down.
While it IS a decent MMO the fact is that it's NOT a good Elder-Scrolls GAME, I just couldn't get the same feel as when I played Morrowind, Oblivion or even Skyrim when I played it.
