I am the same Cypher that ended up as the Junker Alliance 2IC and LN Fleet Admiral at the end of the UK server. Fun times to be had by all. Ironically, I am involved in the same two factions now as I was on UK, LN and Congress.
I first joined in 2009 with the Handle "Grommit" I was one of the old original Trafalgar Junkers, I flew with Taffic and the crew for a long time, I played on both the UK and US servers over the years finally returning in recent years with my current handle "Oktober".
Had some great times and RP on here over the years, as far as I know I'm the only GC original Traf junker still around. I still miss those guys on here, and know them still in RL. Traf junkers lived on , on the UK server for a while if anyone feels like bringing it back here I'm happy to fly.
I currently play mainly junkers and traders.
It's great to see GC still evolving, long may it continue.
I am glad to see so many old players even after 10 or more years. I started with 4.84, frivolous and optional. But I took more serious steps at 4.85 with an unforgettable team of people. It was a time when we were all waiting for a free space to enter the server. So many actions between factions, amazing trade routes, mining, smuggling. I was part of the factions that were not popular among most players, but on the other hand, it had a great charm and rivalry that raised the activity on the server, in a way. TCG (Order guard faction), SMP (Gallic mercenaries against the crown), Avengers (Crazy Hogosha warriors with crazy Japanese names), CGS (Indians who fought against everyone), beloved TBH (led by Werss and Madvilain), ah inevitable crazy The Joker and his thugs. I miss you all from that period. At this point, I have preserved almost all the characters from that time. I'm happy that this game still exists! Guys, thank you very much for keeping it alive, a fantastic job. Keep it up.
Cheers!!!

I can't remember the version, cause I don't pay attention to those things. But I started in 2010, played infrequently, then started playing a lot in 2013, I took a few long hiatus times because of work, or lack of work and no internet. But now, I'm more established and play everyday. I was here when the Judges were around, I was a fairly new recruit to them before they disbanded. That was the first group I ever joined on Disco. I'm still in contact with many of them to this day.
