Well what I sorta meant was would anyone like to help me test ships out....on a server level I'd like to find out which weapons have working tractor beams.
On a more personal note I'd like to run a sort of check on the different ships. I'd like to test their maneuverability, record the number of weapon ports, availability of other equipment and presence of lateral thrusters. If anyone would be interested in having me buy the ship for you, let me know. You'll be required to perform a few miniscule tests (which will only take moments), and turn over any equipment (that comes with the ship) that I want.
Most of the ships I'm interested in resale for 3-7 milion credits, and you won't be required to do much except not die on the way to the test site. Your commision will be anything left over that I don't want and you may keep the ship to sell or use as you wish.
This option will be open on a first come first serve basis when I am online. Repeat customers are largely encouraged.
Okay, both tractor beam problems will be fixed in the next version. That's for sure. Owners of large transports will have them instantly enabled. With Bretonia battleship it's a bit different, for you'll need to buy a new ship. But I'll refund you if you need a beam.

To avoid this, sell your shield first. I believe Ioncross looks for multiple shields as a way of stopping shield-mining hacks.
