I wish to take this time to offer my heartfelt apologies for my actions....Let me explain.
It all started near West Point, when your agent MM A'den came across one know as Sooperheromax, which was already vetted by 2 BH's that were present ( in the confusion I did not get their names). Now Sooperheromax is a Spatial with Corsair ID and a Gian Iff, that has denounced the corsairs and is a wandering soul. Now i understand the MM in the beginning was doing his/her job and is commendable...but did not quite understand the situation and felt the BH's were traitors for their present company. From there he was bent on the destruction of Sooperheromax...Enter Pacifist..I tried to negotiate with A'den to just leave peacefully, I offered credits, he said his payment would be 6 Million credits. I am not a rich man and not quite having that much I offered him all my credits and all my cargo..and pleaded to stand down. He shrugged me off and continued on his path which would have meant a loss of innocent life.
I do not know what overcame me next it was so out of my nature, but I told him if he can't be reasonable I would give him my SNAC. He continued still, next thing i know my Snac fired, I can only assume that i actually did such a thing..He backed off to let his shields Regen and i not being a Violent type was happy for this.
Hence after his shields regained he continued pursuit of the Spatial to Rochester..It docked and was safe..then he turned his attention toward me. Well we know what happened next and he was in his rights. Now I did drop his shields several times but could not bring myself to take anothers life..all the while dodging weapons fire while enroute from Rochester to Manhatten.
After all was said and done nobody lost their lives, Possibly a bruised ego or two and I had to do some deep meditations to stop myself from the occassional outburst of tears for going against my basic nature. I do believe that this incident could have been avoided if A'den would have taken just a minute of time to listen to the 4 people involved and understand the situation. I mean there were 2 Hunters on scene already long before he showed, and had determined Sooperheromax was indeed no threat.
I respect the Mandelorians greatly and understand your jobs are dangerous and difficult...I humbly apologize for my actions for indeed I am a Pacifist and am peaceful.
Due to the recent come back of an old player, which I won't name... or yes, Yuri Neova. And his threat to disband the Mandalorian Mercenaries... I'll do it before him, we are gone, bye.
Na, just kidding:D(the part of the disband, that he threated me is true).
But his complaints about how the faction turned out the last 3 years got me thinking.
He said we should remain neutral with as much factions as we can, and I think that's what we were trying to do, always keeping a high folder of clients and targets to kill.
And that always opened opportunities to any MM who wanted to expand their experience in a certain area of sirius, to whoever wanted to be in Rheinland, Bretonia, Omicrons, Gallia, Liberty, etc.
Of course the faction changed along the years, it's what people expect, it grew, it became bigger, more clients, MM got their nose into any major conflict, people left, people came. And now, we are being seen everywhere.
Now, when from a point of view of the faction, it's great. For the players, the new players, more precisely those players wanting to join a faction to help it grow, it might hold them back seeing it's everywhere.
So, any of you see it like that? Any feels that there's too much to cover? That we should focus more on small areas? Or any other suggestion that you might have, please say it here.
No!
Follow our RP: as much contracts as possible! (as long as they don't conflict with each other) As much money as possible! (as long as we don't break necks of our clients) And Sirius-wide, because people are bored to fly only in 1 place.

Remember, it's not my faction, it's our.
Way to demonize me.
So, from what I understand, you want to limit your faction eve further? You dont have contracts spanning the 4 houses, You have them spanning liberty and bretonia. And a few minor pirates. Because of this, you've not only limited the jobs available, but you've limited the equipment you are capable of using.
Personally, I had and still have deep ties with the RM. I would not be able to work with or for the RM while being a Mandal because of the relations. Infact, I would be forced to fight them!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Want my suggestion? Drop ALL contracts, Drop ALL relations and start back at Neutral. Take contracts to balance your rep, not to make money. You in desperate need for money? Establish a trading wing. The Mandalorians easily are the biggest Mercenary Force in all of Discovery, nobody would be stupid enough to war dec them.
' Wrote:Honestly, I think the Mando's are doing a damn fine job.
You've managed to walk along the cracks between the factions and though you stumbled occasionally, the MM has only come out stronger.
Pretty much a cornerstone of Discovery at this point. I wouldn't change a thing.
Its a cornerstone because the predecessors before this poor excuse of a mandalore.
Blind faith isnt faith at all. Open your eyes to see the restrictions, and read the history, learn from the past and see what freedoms you all usedto have, and how much has been robbed from you, and maybe then you all will see and understand, even if it be little bit, of how I feel. Of why I have such a burning rage.
And I do feel I belong posting here as not only my former faction I was a part of, but created aswell. All remarks are constructive criticism, and are to hopefully jar your minds into view of how things are going down the tube here.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Thats all I'm going to say.

You're still a small mercenary unit. You don't have the resources of even most pirate factions, especially if you cut yourselves off from all your current contractors.
Frankly, I doubt you have a clue what you're talking about, considering how long you've been gone.

Frankly I dont care what your opinions are.
And frankly, I dont think you know anything about leadership.
And frankly I think in general This mandalore doesnt have the balls to take the full reigns of this faction.
You need to maintain neutrality with a mercenary faction, especially if your primary income is indeed contracts.
Furthermore, the purpose of the faction to start off with was not to make money.
All I know is I leave discovery now permenately with a heavy heart, knowing the good name that I worked and that the old people here who are now gone, worked so hard for, is nothing but a ghost in a shell. Now its nothing but a besmirched name, And all the glory, pride, and joy I got from the faction is meaningless and gone.

You want neutrality with everyone, right? You know the difference between Mandalorians and Bounty Hunters Guild, I hope? As I see from your suggestions you didn't even think about possibility of joining Bounty Hunters Guild.;)
Mandalorians have contracts through whole Sirius, mate. A few "minor" pirate faction, you say? I doubt Outcasts are mere pirates. They're nation. Blood Dragons? Actually it's just second Kusari Navy. Just, right.
We also have contracts with Bounty Hunters Guild & Zoners.
There's no definition how to balance rep through contracts. Unless you want us to switch sides as often as someone throws us another coin - in which case we won't be trusted and rewarded with contracts.
Unfortunately past already went away, as well as huge number of restrictions came. Such things like tech chart, or perhaps need to sumbit every kill to bounty issuer, unless there's one-time fee.
If you mean restrictions on weapons, they're quite logical and shouldn't betray our client.

Not really, we're not that small. At least we can be compared to... Unioners, despite that's funny. We have about ten gunboats and Storta in fleet. We'll still have resources, but since we don't trade, we'll end up looking for another contract.:P
EDIT: I'm Mandalorian mercenary and member of BHG|, so at least read few sentences.
A bit late perhaps (couldn't find this thread earlier) but I remember a tussle in Sigma 13 between 3 Corsies and 2 MM. 2 Titans and a bomber vs 1 fighter and a bomber. I sadly forgot who was involved on the MM side.
Anyway, at the end of the fight one Corsie and the MM fighter went boom, and the bomber attempted to withdraw to the junker base in the area. I managed to score a SNAC kill on the bomber... but I'm not entirely certain wether the bomber was docking or not. If so, a late apology for that. Still, it was a good tussle... fighter vs fighter, and bomber vs bomber:)

- Mandalorians are cool. One of the few unspoiled factions left around here. Clean history record, people tend to neglect that.
- They're not suppose to be neutral to everyone. That's just stupid perception. You don't expect that faction/organization, which hires them today, kindly accept the MM's change of sides/contracts every now and then and goes back later to hiring them again like nothing happened. Regular customers equals indirectly picking one's side.
- Too bad Dieter left. But his judgement was probably quite logical to leave the faction in the hands of Casero. He's doing the fine job as far as I can notice, if not in somewhat equal way Dieter use to do it.
- I wish they get their own ID even if it'd be as same as FL ID. They deserve it as medal for passing the test of time.
- Always liked RPing with them, always liked fighting against them, even back in Omicrons when they use to hunt for my Mako:)
- And no - I don't have a secret MM char despite the fact that I'm and was honored by Dieters frequent attempts to recruit me;)
- Kudos to MM. Keep up the good work and continue with tradition. If change did happen or will happen, this faction could only evolve into something better.
