Nightstalker mod has a laser ( 10000.00 refire ), but it has ridiculously high damage. Maybe if we made a gun with 0.04 Hull damage per shot, it would deal an avarage of 400 HD per second. That, combined witha reasonable power consume rate would make a pretty neat laser. Not to forget shield damage.

the problems is the deadly overload in the server would be caused by a gun like that...
Could work as something like a Mini Razor, a Shock Ray. But would look kinda weird on a fighter though lol, cuz just one laser beam, that's more like a Capital Ship would have, rather than a Fighter.

That could actually be a really nice idea. And it would probably change a lot of stuff in fighter PvP.
Mildly faster refire than the SNAC, faster projectile speed, same-ish range, considerably lower hull damage but roughly same shield damage. If possible, a minimum range of 200-ish meters so that insta-killing snubs becomes less of a problem.
