Honestly, Toris, you are sort of demonstrating why cloak limitations are a good idea now, before things deteriorate further and people see this kind of cloak use as the norm.
I know not all K'hara players does that. I know of and respect quite a few K'hara members personally, this isn't about them. I know I'm curt and sometimes even a bit rude, I assure you I mean no harm. I just find it better to write a relatively short post that entails everything needed, from factual information to my personal sentiment.
I'm not everywhere. I can't see everything. I know that this is a big concept, and I sure as heck am not going to forbid the K'Hara members from using the cloaks.
I also don't read threads like this usually. Complaining to the public rather than working it out with someone in charge is a concept which irks be beyond belief. If you don't feel like discussing the situation as an equal force, rather than a 'I am biased beyond belief against this' standpoint, nothing is going to change.
PM me. Don't make stupid threads like this. Until then, nothing is going to change automatically.

Lot of people stopped bother to log when they see K´Hara in player list because they are tired of chasing cloaked nomads, especially when they are willing to uncloak only behind your tail and try to instakill you.

Dude, why can't you just take it like any other player or faction?
Of course the forum is for this, we can discuss, get our points across, and move on. It's in the interest of me, the community and in the longer run yourselves.
Don't be so scared of a bit of critique. Open your feedback thread like any mature official faction, and there'd be no general posts like this.
I am hardly scared, nor do I mind much that you fire this between yourselves. Although you are not getting the point across to the person it needs to get to.
If you want to keep going on like this, fine. Although if you truely wanted things to change, take a different approach man. Seriously
I've always understood that the community has a general agreement about this. I am not stupid. Although threads designed to make someone feel right, instead of a change which is good for all sides is a 'red zone'

Ignorance detected.
That is the exact problem here - you closed all the ways for people to rise concerns about your own faction's wrongs and then wonder why they make threads like that for sharing their opinion or for looking for support along other community members.

Either way, I never meant to "trial by forum", and as I stated in my first post, I would have posted in the feedback thread if that hadn't been locked. Open the feedback already, and there wouldn't be much to discuss.
Nomads are a faction that is hated by anyone. It has NOWHERE to land. Not to mention, they are way advanced that humanity. Why do you want to take in-lore superiority, from an alien race - and a faction that is not even restartable and you need a lot of good RP and abilities to be in?
Limited cloak on Nomads is the most stupid thing ever, since it would hit the lore. So called "balance for sake of balance" is silly, when you want to strip out the lore faction that relies on stealthy approach. "Balance for sake of balance" is sometimes more silly and worse than political correctness.
Just saying. Nomads shouldn't have limited cloak, because of the little fact they WILL be killed by anything that moves. Especially in Omicrons or House space. Nomads will be useless without unlimited cloak and faction will die eventually, because it will have NO ABILITY to traverse Sirius SAFE.
Conclusion: If players are breaking the rules, punish players, not whole factions or make changes to ID. Punishing all because of one never worked and will never work, except in army.
I assume you came here only AFTER cloaks were presented to the game.
Before Cloaks existed, the Omicron area was one of the most active areas of the mod. You could see massive battles among local factions - Nomads, Order, BHG Core, Zoners, Corsairs and Outcasts. Buffer systems decreased the amoung of outcasts present at the scene, and cloaks later killed all other ones activity.
K'hara was doing fine for years before you even probably heard of the mod - being hunted by nearly everyone. And I, for one, thinks that this is something that everyone who wishes to play a nomad should embrace. You want special ships and roleplay ability? Prepare for it to also have a drawback of everyone shooting at you.
My honest opinion? Nerf cloaks big time. Make all of them use some commodity and use a lot more of it than it is now, and perhaps give the nomad cloak a better efficiency, but definitely not non-ending cloaks.
The only ships with somewhat balanced cloaks are snub fighters. Bigger ships shouldn't get a cloaking time greater than 2-3 minutes, which is either enough to commit a surprise attack or withdraw from a battle - have to choose. Nomads might get the option for both or so.
The whole problem with all the Jumpdrives and Cloaks thing, is that instead of encouraging interaction - they prevent it, which is why I don't like them. Though with just little alterations they can be made create tools for in-game both RPing and effective combat.
Annnyyywaaaayyyy, I do think that it was rather harsh to title it "trial-by-forum" and close the thread, you gave away legitimate feedback, if only you would've written it in a rather more polite manner. I think a mod warning to edit it out a bit, rather than insta-lock was far more in place, but oh well.
- Infini-cloaks are silly, no matter if you are an official faction member or not.
- Battleship vs. VHF is silly, no matter if you are an official faction member or not.
- Some players are, and always have been, impervious to any form of critique, to the point of perma-locking feedback threads and admin locking legitimate threads, much to their own detriment. You seem to forget that critique is a help, it's a way to improve. No more, no less.
