She shakes her head aggressively and begins backing up, pointing the blade at them "H-how the hell do you keep finding me!? No no no, Jess is going to be so pissed with me!" She reaches for the her pistol soon after
Examining the damage that Stone had caused to his cybernetic arm. "Well, we would try to get your frequencies, but when the Dead-drop came online, we'd were slightly unprepared" He shows himself in a baking apron. "We were going to have Pizza but then you arrived... The pizza, is the""Its off, don't worry." They then return to Aelita... "Wait who's Jess? Why'd she be angry about this little inconvenience?"
"None of your business is who!" she looked around quickly as if she was a caged animal stuck in cell. She managed to draw her other, yet smaller hand gun and fire it off, once again missing, this time thanks to the cuffs themselves. "Damnit, she'll have my head if I'm not back soon!"
"Yooo~!" Covering his face, from the flying rounds. "STONE! FOR THE LOVE OF TECH... STOP FIRING THAT DAMN THING, WE'VE GOT NOTHING ELSE ON US!" They stand back from her for a quick moment. "Does a damn AI need to be a voice of reason?" Retracting a blade from his finger, he begins to cut away the cuffs, trying not to reach for the gun. He talks to Aelita peacefully while cutting them. "You want something to drink... Or some Pizza?"
She kept her eyes on him as the cuffs fell off, rubbing her wrists lightly "A...a drink and something to eat..w-would be nice.." she looked to the side, her hostile state lessening
"Deck seven, our quarters." Assisting her on her feet, Geoff places Aelita on 'Zeals' shoulders, carrying her though the hanger to the elevator. "Right Miss Grumpy... Lets get you something to chew on." As they go though the maze of corridors and elevators, they reach their quarters, a large luxurious space, with many other rooms and doors... "Park yourself on the couch if you want, lay back and relax, keep those stress levels down." They both head off to the open kitchen, taking the pizza out of the of the oven. They mumble between themselves leaving Aelita alone on the seat for a bit. Geoff comes back with a whole Pepperoni and herb Pizza, still piping hot, while 'Zeal' is still in the kitchen pouring some drinks. "What you want to drink? Anything in particular, we got quite a range." He cuts the pizza into manageable slices and hands a plate to Aelita with a few of them.
She sighed and waited for her slice of food to cool before picking it up and eating part of it, then taking a sip of her drink. "Its been a awhile sense I've had good food like this..so thank you both for this.." she smiles lightly up at them
"Mphmmm, thats what we like to do sometimes, its no problem at all." Sitting down on the opposite couch, He looks at the burns on the entirety of the right side of her body and face. 'Zeal' walks back to where Geoff is, looking at Aelita she takes note about how calm she is. "Hey, that's a good sign." Chuckling amongst each other, 'Zeal' passes Geoff a glass of a orange juice, while she drinks a clear liquid. "I'm surprised with what you have at your disposal with the rest of your... "Friends", you don't get treatment like this?""Anyway, how did you get into this mess in the first place... That's what i want to know." He sits down while 'Zeal' goes off to another room.
She remains silent before sighing "I can't say sorry...Jess would have my head if I told anything about how I got mixed up or anything like that. Let me put it like this however.." she looks up at Geoff "I'm like a deadly sin of the Order..they can't get rid of me and they keep calling upon me to finish something they started, normally with extreme...'power'...actually I can say this..I didn't get mixed up into it by the Wilde, not even close..I kinda got....caught by a nomad Guardian...who stopped me and kinda gave me visions of enlightenment and all that stuff...my Wing commander Grey, the one you meet on the cruiser in Zeta got me out of it...by ramming torpedoes into my ship...I didn't get hurt but it woke me up and angered the beast itself..from there the Order, mostly Grey, sent me into Liberty to find a certain nomad gunship..this one apparently however had untold aggression and I was to find out more about it...I didn't found it, but that's when I got mixed up into the Outcasts, Joshua and all them...and after that." She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, closing her eyes before looking at Geoff.
"I had major anger problems; which mind you, are mostly gone now..but during all that, I had to hide, send messages to the Order and all that, and no one knew a thing till a Lance, those Outcast guys, somehow found me and another agent, and was cloaked with nomadic tech...it attacked us and we both ran as fast as we could, I went for Barrier station then for Kusari with the agent were Grey picked us up, I gave her the information and we were taken back to Mu, during that, the Lance found my old Freighter and apparently it was destroyed or did suicide or something like that...anyways back at 'home', that's where it all started, I was sent on minor missions till I was sent to the Legion to check up on them..ended up falling into line with them and in..a few weeks became the TFG's, or Task force gladius's intelligance's second in command but..then they fell apart and I returned home..." Looking away again
"From there, Grey made me stay in and around Omicron Mu, training, waiting, doing diplomatic stuff or going on patrols..strange things happened that I don't want to bring up..for now..but as it went, I ended up getting more eyes from the Order then just one..I felt like a test subject again.." What did she mean by again? "But then that's when things got ugly...Grey wanted me to be the best agent she ever had under her wing..I was, and anything that happened to me, emotion wise or pain wise, made her rather upset...in the end, I was forced from the Order, not..badly, Grey and Jess talked it over and got me out...I was in medical and Doc Holiday, bless the man's heart, saved me from death..." She would stand to show him, removing her jacket to show the massive, burned scar tissue that covered most of her chest and other parts of her body, after a bit, she sat back down and put the jacket back on "Barely escaped..lost the Lyoko but not the AI.."
Shaking her head "I can't say much else..some of it is to much of a haze to remember anyways..I struggle to even remember my parents at times, their name..what they looked like and all that...what about you, I remember some of your story but not all of it." looking at Geoff
"Wow..." He takes a few sips of his orange juice. "I can't exactly beat your story to be fair..." He sits back on the couch slouching, seeming heavily relaxed. "Well, back when i was 19... or 20... I can't remember. I was hired by a small R&D corporation, invested in cybernetics and combat AI assistance. Aha~ We screwed up, suits in black obviously came by and gave us a chip, using brain tissue. I was assigned to mess around with it." He looks towards the door where 'Zeal' left. "And we had that sexy thing come from the depths of my head. Though an instance of being shot halfway across the lab room and breaking a few ribs." He picks up a slice of pizza, and begins to chew on it. "So, what with all this~ It was supposed to be a kind of combined effort to have a neural link with the AI, able to communicate easily. I screwed up so bad, turns out the shock had imprinted my brainwaves onto the ship, making it completely incompatible for anyone else. So we followed procedure, we found a perfect test subject for the augmentation adaptation, me, and went ahead and chopped his arm off."
Taking the last bites of his slice of pizza he gulps down some more juice. "Now combat tests had to be made, we did them, i thought they weren't satisfactory. But my contract had kept up with me and ended up dropping me from my Firm. I kept this since they couldn't exactly put my old arm back on, and for it to function properly they had to give me the AI, and basically it was useless to anyone else. And it was deemed waaaaay~ too expensive."
"Now what i meant by combat tests not being efficient, that's what i meant, signed up for the military just to test it out, then i met the K'hara in the middle of all this, screwed myself over and got interested in them." He gives a slight huff and looks at his arm. "So my new Admiral got pissy, i left to get away from the protocol and restrictions. I crammed down in the Omicrons waiting for something to happen, we tinkered and toyed with a few augmentations, chatting to people until Joshua happened, I'm sure you know the story from there. Tech hunting, nomad hunting and base bui- All that rubbish that i kind of hate right now." He gives a big huff. "After that, he just got his Liner, everything that he had, tools, evidence equipment, and we didn't even kiss it goodbye. Felt like the middle finger in the face, while stabbing that invisible knife of 'lost' right into the chest." Drinking the last few drops of his juice, the glass slowly cracks in his cybernetic hand, yet still holds together without anything leaking. "So we were back to the stage of tinkering with the Omicrons, got bored, took up a few contract jobs with people, escorting and stuff~ But then, then we just got bored." He stands up an spreads his arms and hands out, twisting around, praising the room. "And boredom made us push for this- We had no Home since we never stayed in one place, and we needed the room to tinker around. But we wanted something that could power it... we took up a contract with the BDM and trying to push for certain hardware, but they wanted..." He pauses for a moment."Certain materials."He takes a deep breath before returning to look at Aelita. "Ended up working with the Buro, i saw their equipment and its exactly what i needed... Use them like they use you, eh?"
