The travel and the risk is the fun part of smuggling. Of course anyone that wants to make a profit will get a Kujira or Serenity and trade ore. Smuggling is much more fun because of the risks and the interactions it gives you.
There's so many things to do it's hilarious. At low pop times go smuggle contraband or haul ore,at more populated times go log a snub and grab a few blues,if not just go rpey
Like really, there's enuff to do.Or hell, you can go explore all the systems for that matter.
Running contraband was the most fun. The more people on, the merrier. Credits per hour was ok but the RP you could get was priceless. A lot was awful but to be fair, a lot was good.
As an unlawful, we pirated some guy for just one of his Gaian parrots so a word of advice: If you're going to pirate, make it as interesting/different for the guy you are 'cleaning' as it is for you and your amigos.
If that isn't your thing, go for one of the arranged skirmishes. I've had my fair share of pre-arranged Outcast/Corsair encounters and I have to say I don't think any of them disappointed me. Some real characters used to turn up. Don't know if any of them are still here but I'm confident you have a good crowd here nonetheless.
Just like to say 'Hola' to everyone while I'm passing through...
