Which still isn't against the rules at all. That only applies to nomads.
Quote: There is no way for the person that is about to be attacked, to know that he will be attacked for certain within the next 10 seconds after it sees the first message, as the RP might as well be directed at another person withing local chat range. As such RP while being cloaked does not really qualify here.
A rank 89 ship with LNS- in its name, common logic dictates its a battleship about to decloak and shoot another battleship that's sitting right in open space (trying to cruise after the first engagement line.) If you also watch the video again you'll see the second line specifically highlights the person that is going to be targeted. Mind you, that was after he reacted to the first line and tried to cruise away 3 times in a row. Also again, the person who provided the video tipped off the person who was about to be decloaked upon, the battleship knew full well the ship (me) was going to decloak and shoot him. He had plenty of time to react, the reason he appeared so vaulnerable was because he tried to cruise 3 times and lost all of his energy.
Quote:Which leads us back to the reasonable time before hostilities, as that is not given when you uncloak and instantly unleash hell after dropping some lines of chat while being cloaked.
This is literaly how every instance of buttcloaking has ever gone, going by this logic, you'd might as well file a report against the entirety of 5th, [LN], BAF|, GRN|, [RHA], =CR=, NC-, [TBH], [RM], BDM| and all their indies because is how every instance of buttcoaking on the server occurs.
Take a look at my youtube channel or Spazzy's youtube channel or titan's youtube channel. Hell, take a look at ANY youtube channel where people fly cloaked caps, this is no different than any other instance.
Again this isn't breaking any rules, the victim of the decloaking has no problem with it, I don't understand why this is worth stripping a ship down.
@Jansen The rules don't say you have to RP after uncloaking, though. I thought you had to, but then I checked the rules, and proved myself wrong. Discussing Wesker's guilt isn't what I'm making this post for, though, although the dirty bugger deserves to be buttcloaked in every possible encounter.
The problem is that the rules don't mention this at all, and before someone gets sanctioned for it, no one can know if it's legal or not for sure. I propose that it's added to the rules, or at least the rules clarifications thread. Could reduce admin work too, with less such violations being reported.
