Just a nitpicky suggestion, as I recently purchased a transport. (specifically the Borderworlds Transport, which is AWESOME)
I think that the Transport turrets should have the physical size scaled down to 40% of normal, as they aren't quite as oversized. See screenshot for an example.
To me, these turrets are just too eye-poppingly large. It's like seeing an 80 lb girl with 38DD's, it just doesn't look right.

That is fantastic to hear that it is already done in 4.85!!! I love good news!
I wonder if similar fixes are in place for gunboats and other sub-capitals? Kusari ships especially have graphical issues with non kusari turrets. Just a side note.
in exchange... warship turrets should be resized too:)they are too small, I like those on Xing's RM giant huge megaship which will never be implemented but which looks realy realistic with those big guns (like battleship in RL).
Edit: but not bases of those guns, they are huge and ugly... just guns
I keep hearing that Rheinlandian mini trans turrets are the solution for regular Trans 4 turrets being too big.
Well. Where can the unlawfuls get their hands on them? Or on a similar one?
RHA and LWB has transports and I would venture a guess so does the majority of unlawful factions, so what's the solution for these?
Personally I would think every problem regarding the turrets being too big for ships would have been solved if the civ trans turrets would have been scaled down. No need to make new turrets for unlawfuls.
And I've been wondering why the turrets has three guns but clear shoots only one projectile.
