For those who own Soulstorm, anyways. It's released to everyone else on the 27th.
So far I'm having a blast playing it.
If you've got it, drop me a line. My LIVE gamertag is Everblue91
If you don't own Soulstorm for Steam, it's okay. Just register it on Steam with your CD Key and have at 'er.
Well, it's open on the 27th.:P
I don't see whats wrong with Steam, though. It's stepping in and doing a great job where retail stores are dropping the ball in favour of console gamers.
My biggest gripe with this game is the fact that it doesn't use Steam servers... It uses those damn microsoft LIVE servers and it causes all sorts of hell.
But damn, such a fun game. They've improved on Dawn of War 1, 100%!

Downloading Now. IGN was comparing this to Starcraft 2 so it should be good.
When does the Beta end?
Edit: Ouch, requires 3.2Ghz Single Core and I have 3.0. Oh well downloading and will see if it works hopefully it does.
I dunno, comparing the 2 is touchy, as Starcraft is a big rip-off of Warhammer40k.
Also, gamestyles are completely different.
I don't see much of a difference between SC1 and SC2. Build a base, mass units, fly at 'er.
DoW2 is very squad oriented. Makes you micro a ton and make sure you're keeping an eye on all your units.
You don't really have a base to look after, only a single building which you do tier upgrades and buy units from.
Yeah.
Relic wanted to make it 40k, but more of the Company of Heroes side.. Really emphasis squads, instead of the original where you just built a base, massed units, and took points.
