Hopefully this isn't something that's been covered that I missed, but having licenses for battleships seems... odd. I understand the logic behind the server requirement and all, but has it been considered renaming it? I was thinking something like a Battleship Crew. (Or perhaps something more creatively thought out but which actually would represent something battleshipesque.)
Why? Well, beyond the aesthetics, it seems a large ship needs to be crewed by someone and this would cover that. The spaceship crew commodity could be used to represent it, but this solves both the strange licensing committee thoughts that come to mind, as well as the question of how many crew there are.
Of course, the thought hinges on whether it's something that can simply be renamed in a quick fashion. If that isn't the case, well, perhaps not.
They are there as a strategy to reduce battleship overuse on the RP server.
The advantage to their current name is that they "are what they say on the tin". It's clear what their purpose is, and immediately suggests to a new player that their use is admin-enforced.
It's not great RP, but then neither are "Welcome to Discovery!" and "RP Server Rules" commodities.
