Pretty defenseless ships if you ask me. Especially for the world haunted by BH and nomad ships.
Also, i am not sure can a BH capital ship destroy your trader, but i think this will bring up some numerous new questions.
I can imagine it now. Two order whales and two gebs, gebs act as escort / trader. in comes BH caps and they can evaporate Gebs but they can't touch transport. Or can they?

we'll have fleets of Gebs escorting our transports! =P

Just because you CAN doesnt mean you SHOULD.
Its called courtesy and Respect.
Rule 2 of Roa's Rules (the unofficial Guidelines to better RP); Never take from those Poorer Than Yourself. Although mainly a pirate rule, it also applies to lawfuls in taxing players, or Bounty Hunters/Mercs executing contracts on players who have low to no fees. Typically, you can tell if someone has no money or alot.
Dont think yer all hardcore just because you're bounty hunters. Thats why I never allowed the Mandalorians to go BH.

Ah, but see, you're operating under a misunderstanding here.
The BHG|Core is NOT the same as the BHG|. The Guild Guard is at WAR with the Order - same as Bretonia/Kusari or Liberty/Rheinland. We're not attacking their transports to fulfill a contract. We're destroying their ability to wage war.
TOTALLY different perspective from simply trying to get money off of them. The Guild Guard IS the hardcore branch of the Guild. (Go read our ID again.)
Quote:Relevant portion
Pilot carrying this ID is a member of the Bounty Hunter Guild Core, who :
Is in a state of war with The Order and Nomads, and may engage Order or Nomad affiliated individuals without a bounty.
Can engage and destroy any pilot actively assisting another Order pilot or Nomad.
Can engage and destroy any ship produced by The Order without a bounty, even if the faction affiliation of the pilot is not Order.

I'm not going to repeat myself. Just because I can hunt every merc and bounty hunter in gallia as a council doesnt mean I do it.
and I dont care if you're at war with the order, theres such a thing as honor and chivilary.
You want ot continue this arguement, take it to PMs. Otherwise, drop it here.

Quote:6.7 Attacking transports, liners or demanding cargo from the same is not allowed for cruisers and battleships.
Exceptions to this rule are:
a) Terrorist, Nomad, Wild, Phantom ID players;
b) LSF or Liberty Navy Guard vessels operating within Zone 21 or Alaska;
c) Order Guard vessels operating within Alaska or Omicron Minor;
d) Blood Dragon Guard vessels within Chugoku;
e) Corsair Guard vessels within Omicron Gamma;
f) Outcast Guard vessels within Omicron Alpha;
g) Guard ID players in their -own- associated Guard system.
h) Special OP players within the guidelines of their approved RP.
Traders whom are attacked in these areas may be pursued and destroyed beyond them.
Keep that in mind before your Mako runs around gunning down Order Transports. Transports have a weird electronic signature which causes attacking capships to have their turrets pop off and their credits vanish.
But thanks for skylining yet another painful exercise in ID clarification.
No, its not intended to give free license for the Core to blow up transports and no you don't rate. The Corsairs have just as much desire to blow up Outcast transports but they cannot do so in Legates.
