I am curious as well, RepEx's request submission was also submitted well before the Beta release, upon approval will we be charged 600 mil or 1 bil. Also can we still have the system modified before the final release comes out? We were hoping to have our new system modded for the next release. Thanks again.

Aye, as am I, as we were looking forward to this. 10 members (Ok, maybe 9) wanted this system and 3-4 of them have been working their arses off to make this a reality. Now, what am I supposed to say to them? Know what I mean?
You've gotta be kidding! The price for systems has gone up from 600 mil to 1 bil? How's this possible for the poorer factions? House factions and corporations can easily raise the 1 bil since they have resources at their whim. But we pirate / revolutionary types cannot dock on these rich trading planets in order to make millions upon millions an hour. And piracy doesn't bring in a lot of cash.

4.84 will contain lots of new features, and most of them are already included, so the next betas will be mainly for tweaking balance and fixing bugs (yes, there are bugs, like in every first beta). You can read the full list of features below.
Important rule changes, and changes related to the rules, will follow this release. ID cost is reduced 10-15 times, except for Xeno ID and Neutral ID. Name Change Certificate price will rise from 2 to 5 million credits. Price of faction system purchase will rise from 600 million to 1 billion credits (all previous system requests will be processed using the old price, if they are confirmed). Ship types are now clearly defined by in-game and complete forum rules. Also, we are preparing special rules regarding battleship licensing. But this is for further discussion, and 1st beta doesn't contain the license as purchaseable item.
The first beta will run only on the PvP server. RP server will still run the 4.83 final version.
Version number is 48.41.

Imagine a Merc faction that isnt getting alot of jobs. We need to 1; put out better ads and 2; Now we need to work harder.

Well, I dunno if it has been processed yet, but a suggestion; Let the system prices change from 600 mil -> 1 bil after the mod has been 100% released. That way, everything can smoothly transit.
Battleships probably gonna be a prob now, Hows MM gonna get their flagship cheap? ((The agreement I am working out is that I want a newer Hacker Spyglass as our flagship. I am not only discussing with Admins on this, but with HF. Since I am doing about 50% of work by Centering, Texturing, Adding Hard points, Scaling, and finalizing the model itself, I only ask that I am given one of these to do with as I wish (Which is to put it as the MM Flagship.). Now I have further things to discuss thanks to the new updates. But dont think I'm against it for one second, cause I believe its a great idea to have more restrictions on BB))
There are enough smuggling trade routes. Systems are expected to be very expensive.
What ID does Rep-Ex use?
Also, please note. All system requests posted after the beta 1 release will be processed under 1 billion rule. I will not make any exceptions. Mal, Merc, this doesn't apply to you.
