Hm... I use 3 200mm fans (front, side, and top) and one 120mm fan (rear panel), never have heat problems, and they make zero noise.
If you have a case that supports them, I really do recommend 200mm fans. They have a lower RPM than smaller fans, so they dont make any noise or rattle your case, but move more air through the PC than smaller fans can.
wow 36 bucks for a fan. altho they do move alot of air due to specs.
wow. The RPM of the fan is real high. Be Careful to not run the fans at max all the time, because The Casing will crack and fan will basically Break.
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.

It's like I have the ****ing love child of the mining barge and the Osiris-class battleship in my computer now. Does anyone know how to lower the voltage/RPM on this the thing? Speedfan got too close and lost it's manhood I see. Also the cord it came with (power cord) is 2 pins, though I think it's interchangable with the proper cord which I have..
Edit I completely took out the cord the plugs into the molar power cords and just plugged the slim one with the 3 pins into the MB. It's moving Avg. 3000 RPM. I can't directly control the fan speed still.
