Its a very nice game, knowin that its being developed some 7 kms from my house is even better, considering that my country is an all time fail in computer sciences (gaming and all the comp ****).
Though it requiring steam is a bit bleh for me. I don't like Steam running behind, devouring resources. Starcraft II's Battle.net application is much more swift. I don't like being connected to internet in order to play but at least, if I have to do that, I want it to be quick and swift.
My steam account has well over 250 poured into the main game and in to Warband. I sunk 5 or 6 points into my Engineer skill and built up my castle and town quickly and then recruited people a lot. My castle was seiged a lot but was never taken and my troops always gained a lot of good experience.
It may be the best sandbox game, al apologies to the Disco mod for Freelancer. You can get the game and expansion through Steam for $20-25 on a special every other month or so. The holidaze are right around the corner. I will subscribe to the thread and mention it when I see it. This game is suh-weet.
After spending about 100 hours in Warband, I can't say that I can tell a real difference in the gameplay. OMG!Ivan may be bloser to correct than I first realized.
