OK, chaps, let's play a little game of "what if..." And please, PLEASE, let's try and actually learn something from this discussion this time, k?
Now, it goes like this; Lets say you have a nuke. Wait, scratch that. Lets say you have a LOT of nukes. Like, several billion. Lets say you have the super nomad cannon that can blow up suns, like they did in the extended Freelancer trailer. Good, that should work...
Now, here's the thing. You get to choose three systems that you would use it on. Thoses systems would get wiped from discovery. All the bases, all the planets, everything. Now, here comes the question;
What three systems would you choose to nuke?
Please, chaps, tell us why. And try to have reasons beyond "It's my enemy's guard system."
[color=#FFFFFF]The three systems I would totally nuke are the New York, New London, New Berlin, and possibly if I have the extra nukes for New Tokyo. I would love to see how society falling apart and then rebuilds again, since quite literally those are the hubs of life in Sirius. Yeah that's about it awesome RP opportunities
Hmm, it wouldnt really work with only 3, but I'd go for the empty more remote systems that few people use, simply so that there arnt all these useless systems cluttering up the mod, and spreading people out so its harder to meet them.

Target #1: Omicron Gamma
Neutralizing omicron gamma means neutralizing the majority of corsair lolwuts, as well as their primary production facility for capships.
Target #2: Burgundy
No more CCCP Valors, no more 7 Valor battleship raids on Malta.
Target #3: Alaska
Main source of lolberty capships and OORP trade routes.
I dont have to worry about nuking omicron minor, since it gets asploded in .86 regardless.

Those systems arent useless, they provide areas with no pre-established lore that players can use to work outside the bounds of vanilla roleplay. I use them quite frequently for the OSD's science-related roleplay projects, because using populated systems often causes clashes with the other players who are involved with that system.
