I am totally in love. Lets hope you can add it to 4.87. It should be slow as hell in turning not in response- so it wont be effectively used in piracy, also not having a CD is good thing for such ship- adding hangar would be really awesome too- however I guess you need to speak with the devs about the specs- so it should not be OP and it should not have any offensive capabilities. This ship would allow civilians and freelancers to fly secure for first time in Disco.

I agree that it might be a bit too boxy, so I made an adjustment to increase the length which reduces feeling of a box and adds more of a brick feeling which I was going for. I also reduced the height of the lower middle fin, which together with the length increase makes them stick out less, or at least in my opinion.
I see your concerns, but this ship will not be very combat efficient. With it's size, powerplant and agility even gunboats will have an easy time vaporizing it, while it wont stand a chance against even the weakest cruisers.
My idea was indeed to give this ship a hangar slot, but docking would be only for small ships(small freighters being the largest of them).
Cargo hold is there simply to increase the RP and utility value of the ship itself.
I agree with you, and I will add one or possibly two observation spots/science labs to top and possibly bottom of the ship. With the new model, there should be extra space for it.

The only recent model submissions have been massdrivers, and as cool as the 'everything is a sportscar' look is, I very much prefer the ugly, utility look.
At first I was like..............UGH a brick. Then I was like.......INTRIGUE......a possible model for a civilian jump ship. I like.
Don't bother with states and such, you will have no say in those. Balance team does all that jazz. Though, I'd really really like to see it be a jump ship. That would get rid of the whole, only factiosn with BS can jump, crap we have right now.
I think you should pay attention to time stamps on threads. That thread is two years old and Frozen has not been a developer here in a long while now. I'm not going to bother looking for it, but I'm certain those who took Frozen's place have said not to bother with stats as this is a model submission forum; discussing the model is its purpose, not the stats.
