I installed it just now, and it's pretty epic so far. The browser is even faster than it was and it has a load of new features and improvements. Opera Link is awesome, lets you store your bookmarks and other stuff on a remote server so that you never lose them when you do stuff like reformat or use a different computer. In general, it still pwns firefox clear on the head with it's stuff.
Doesn't seem Opera are having the same sort of problems with their servers that Mozilla has, the download was finished the moment I clicked it.
Well i just got opera, and said good bye to fire fox.. this browser is amazing. I haven't really gotten into the features yet, but the speed dial function is awesome and its uber fast.
I've never really liked opera for some reason I think it's just GUI.
I cant fault it as being an excellent very fast browser though it always was.
I'm actually not even sure why I don't like it guess it's just something in the feel.
I don't want to put anyone of trying it though it's been through a few versions since I last tryed and I'd highly recomend it over Internet Explorer for just security reasons alone.
This browser is my favorite like 4 years now, i just cannot image my work on computer without it. Being very flexible and funcional makes it the best. Not saying that other suck or anything but its just top quality.

Same here I dropped the idea if switching to a new browser a year after using firefox and integrating so deeply into it.
I used Opera for a long time before switching to Firefox. Opera is still an excellent browser, and I do like the way it handles some functions, like downloads, better than Firefox.
For me, though, the big draw for Firefox is the AdBlock Plus Add-on, which is something that Opera doesn't have. Since then, I've downloaded a pile of add-ons that make Firefox run more like Opera, so I think you can tell where my heart still lies.:D
I used to be a Firefox guy, but eventually switched to Opera to get something new. They said it was fast, and boy, is it ever. The difference between Opera and Firefox, I think, is largely in what it does. Firefox is very large and very versatile, so it has a crapload of features, but Opera is much, much more minimalist. Opera likes to hang around in the background and present the information you're viewing as fast and as prominently as possible, whilst FF's designers seem to like reminding us that THIS! IS! MOZILLAAAA! and put the actual browser in a more prominent position.
EDIT: This is a novice's analysis, btw, I really have very little idea what I'm talking about. That's just the feel I get.

The funny thing is that while Opera seems minimalist when you simply use it for browsing, it actually has a ton of useful features in it that you would require plugins for in the case of Firefox. And they all work as fast as the rest of the browser.
