But due to Lane Hacker presence and [[Freeport 4]] resulting in increased piracy in the area, many traders opt for the safer and faster route through [[Cortez]] when shipping goods back and for through [[California]] and [[Manchester]]. Many surveys conducted within the system have also detected a large number of gravitational anomoles proposing that there are a large number of Jump Holes throughout Magellan.
