As the lease was given based on the Bretonia's war with Gallia, it is now being revoked as the reason is no longer valid. This lease allowed Bretonia and Liberty to be the only houses to use each other's Capital class ships with full technological compatibility (Bretonia due to an inRP justification, Liberty due to fairness). With the removal of this lease and technological compatibility, these houses will fall back in line with the rest of them and focus on their own tech cell. Current and future SRP'd ships will not be affected by this change as they have their own respective RP justifications for continued compatibility.
All cross-owner Liberty/Bretonia ships that are not part of an SRP will be able to swap their ID's to the other House if they wish to continue using it. Alternatively, in cases of the Akhetaten the Staff can offer refunds if the players do not wish to swap ID's/Houses. All other ships can be sold to the NPC bases while the weapons/CODE's can be salvaged and reused elsewhere.
Side note: Refunds are only valid if the player can provide proof of purchase (so we can confirm the sale value) and if they have been purchased before this notice.
This announcement is a general reminder to everyone here to backup all of your accounts.

For those unfamiliar with backups, follow the 3, 2, 1 rule. It'll save you some hassle to reinstate your accounts
Steps to backup your accounts:
STEP: 01 - Open the Discovery Launcher and go to the Accounts > Unfiltered tab
STEP: 02 - Click on the first account, scroll to the bottom and SHIFT + Left Click on the last one
STEP: 03 - Right click > Export Selected Accounts
STEP: 04 - Save the accounts in a memorable location
STEP: 05 - Repeat previous steps and save accounts in a separate locations (Google Drive, NAS, USB, etc.)
STEP: 06 - Finished
Please take steps to backup and restore your accounts before contacting Staff.
If all else fails, Administration can perform account restoration.

This morning the last self report has been actioned and the credits obtained from the exploit have been removed. Unfortunately there has been a significant delay in having this completed due to the lack of manpower, which only recently got somewhat resolved.
In the meantime, the Staff team has implemented several safeguards and tracking systems to mitigate the extent of exploits, increase our response time, and to give us an easier time tracking all those who are benefiting from exploits.
As of now, barring some drastic new discovery, we are considering this matter closed.
