Sarcastic answer: Basically, a guard system is a system in which there is a base that sells the best equipment, and the NPC's there can tear you apart in seconds if you are in a fighter. Instantly if you are in a starflea.

Good point ... but we're talking about transports and freighters ... not brand new under level 10 characters entering a guard system for the first time.

Besides, I'm usually smuggling through there with a cruiser:PBut heck, it might be a good use for my bretonia BS, maybe I'll sell it to a junker.

I would love to see a BS go through 100 with all those rock's. Would be like clubbing baby seal's from behind. Just keep moving and watch the BS bounce around.:laugh:
If i see a cruiser NP. I just call in some of my allies for an assist.

There is a path that avoids most of the rocks, and the bretonia BS isn't that bad in cockpit mode, you can make it through most asteroid fields without a major issue. Also I've taken that cruiser through there a bunch of times with no issues whatsoever so the idea of friends showing up doesn't exactly worry me when the system is empty of players other than me every single time..

Time zones can be hell for any kind of organization, but usually when I'm on and defending the system there's:
-Myself, in a zoner destroyer
-Nomad_killer in a zoner destroyer
-Bushido in a corsair cruiser
-Several Bs| and independent order pilots in fighters or bombers
And... you dont get into the system to begin with, we camp the omicron major jump hole if we see any kind of activity in omicron major, the second you come through you're under fire, and not even a battleship stands any chance against three cruisers.
