Indeed it is. I guess certain norms set what is believable and what's not. And in this fictional spaceship shooting game, norms (however inapplicable they may be to the real life) were first set, then completely ignored when it comes to Kusari Dessie. And that's looking just at the size comparison.
A ship so obviously overpowered (and I'm referring specifically to the power core/size) when you look at the size comparison... And I bet it isn't the only one.
And I'm not screaming and whining that devs should do it all perfectly and right now. Not at all. I actually have little reason to actually complain about it. I don't own it and I hardly ever fought it. All I'm saying is that Ashes has a point that I think shouldn't be ignored (edit: by making mocking threads no less *headdesk*). That's all.

Kusari has the best tech.
In the form of Destroyers.
It's far too small, like, the gunboat is good, but the Dessie is quite far over the 'good' line. Infact, it's up there with the Scorpion Gunboat.

No one is ignoring what Ashes has said. Her points have all been addressed. What is being ignored is the explanations given to those points. The only thing being said in this thread is "ITS TOO SMALL" despite every response being given to it, which by the way are being given with statics to back them up. The ship is not over powered, the ship is not unbalanced. Thats what is being ignored in this thread.

Well, as long as it doesn't hold back the whole line and as long as lack of realism is the only price to pay for balance (supposing it is balanced) without fiddling with too many things*... I fold.
*And I think this is a very important point in this discussion, since that's the only reason I can think of why no-one's answering Friday's question as to whether it would be accepted if submitted by a player.
