RE: Admin Notice: Player Owned Bases - Stuart.croll - 08-18-2013 Proposal POBs 1. Make them easier to build 2. Make them easier to maintain 3. Take away their offensive capability. Allow weapons but only reactive to base attack. Rant on. Is there a problem with hundreds of POBs just existing on the server? RE: Admin Notice: Player Owned Bases - Luke. - 08-18-2013 Yes, they'll block every passage to every system ever 'cause people enjoy seeing others die. If this is a response to my post did you miss the part about taking away their offensive capability? RE: Admin Notice: Player Owned Bases - Ponge - 08-18-2013 If there is an inRP reason, people should be able to block systems: like when traders use Guard Systems to shorten/make safer their routes. Why is it ooRP to kill a trader who enters Virginia/Ellesmere/*etc. just to avoid pirates/make a shortcut? They can easily make the guard faction neutral, and make the routes, which is totally ooRP, as they should not be there in the first place. This should not be up to individuals. So that's a set point in time, not a dimensional time figure. I can't say for certain, but if you want a estimation, I would say probably August 11th, right before things went nuts. RE: Admin Notice: Player Owned Bases - Zen_Mechanics - 08-18-2013 Would be wonderful if the team can update the thread ~ with perhaps ETA and current progress? Other thing: please, Admins, could you make an official statement about the rollback? Everyone is confused as hell, and everyone makes wild guesses about it.
