Whilst using another game, probly an RTS/TBS (Star Wars battlefront 2 anyone?) could be cool, and provide some nice RP. Both sides would still have to agree on it, and work out the conditions, affects FROM freelancer RP, affects TO freelancer RP ect. So it wouldnt really alter much from the "Just decide it with the other faction OORP" that most people already use.
Which is why Im a little curious about the use of "we" in your OP. Your not discussing yourself in regards to O49 it seems, so Im curious, are you trying to make this official disco policy or something!?

Too taxing, a bunch of people here use weaker computers. My laptop is pretty good, and I can't efficiently play PS2

Or Starcraft terran-only is RP-wise too.
Supcom is especially good 'cause only one unit is sent at the start of the battle (ACU), that makes sense.
