We used to run a precision flying course sort of follow the leader that included a half loop through the first Manhattan to Detroit trade lane rings, a pass through the Manhattan docking ring, an outside half loop through the Manhattan to Ft Bush trade lane rings, another pass through the Manhattan docking ring, and a weave through the mooring tower at Newark all at cruise.
Bounce off the docking rings and you just might end up a light show for the residents of Manhattan.
It might make a good race course that could last multiple laps, and it would work at New Tokyo too.

Sounds interesting. I call it "LineBreaking" in all my RP's. So we could have the lawfuls going "Illegal LineBreakers in the Trade Lanes! All fighters dispatch to intercept!"

One of my characters has to test his autopilot's AI so a race would be perfect.
Why wouldn't cheetahs be allowed? if someone was crazy enough to buy one in the first place this is their chance to use them. Oh, yes... almost forgot. I think caps should be allowed for blue races, they might have turtle-like turning-speed but did you know they can almost enter 1k from the sun without getting burned?
that would make ship selection a big partition of tactic. AND would add to variety of ships.

Cheetah thrusters aren't allowed, as they are Outcast-only tech. Enhanced thrusters are pratically the same, but are considered universal.
I would join in, if I didn't have red lag every second of play time...
